    Always like your hair vids. I've been rocking a newbie sidepart ever since I saw your older video that introduced me to mousse and hairspray. (I just hope mine ain't TOO thin or receding to be too comb-overy!) Also did not expect you parting the other side to look so weird, hahaha. Deffo the right choice there. I am curious how long yours is at the front these days.

    I am really confused because most articles i have read and vids I have watched say to go short on sides but I can't coz of my ears!!

    • @BenArthur
      @BenArthur  Před 7 lety +2

      +Dhananjay Singh thanks for the feedback! You may feel restricted because of your ears but going shorter on the back and sides will make them appear smaller if that's what you're worried about mate

    my hair looked like yours when you were reviewing the pete and pedro putty, my sides were combed down but the part was a little high which made my quiff a bit near the middle of my forehead just like yours but now your hair looks much better, your quiff starts from the side and wasn't like before where the part was higher. How did you do it? pls help

      EveryMan so do you wait for the original part to grow longer and style it up? because if you shave a lower part from the sides, what do you do with the original higher part?

    I'm rocking a low fade undercut similar to yours. I part left to right. Still can't find the right parting. Like if I part my hair right to left then they fall lower compared to when I part them left to right. Does it mean that my crown is somewhere left side??

    I’m from Canada eh bud, I’m currently growing hair for the winter, gotta keep the dome warm during the chilly winter. I just have it swept back and it’s the longest I’ve ever grown it. For most of my life I’ve had a parted undercut like you but my medium-long hair is lookin’ pretty good though. I also got wavy hair so even with just pushing it back with my hands it has style, texture and some volume to it. I always thought I was balding because my foreheads kinda big and I have really fine hair but after watching your other videos I realized I’m not.

  • @zuga-3938
    @zuga-3938 Před 5 lety

    So, I have a bigger forehead and a receding hairline, maybe a tiny bit more than you, and I already kinda figured out how to part now, back when I was younger with 16-20 I had not a huge problem with a sidepart and could make the line pretty far on the side but now I have to make it exactly in the corner of my receding hairline and then like angled into the middle of my head, to where my middle crown is. a little bit like Ryan Gosling he parts his side on like 2/3 of his forehead and also not perfectly in a straight line around the side of his head but kinda in a oblique position. So, but now my problem is my hair in the front kinda want to my left side, the hair falls and kinda look really perfect to this side and I have really no struggle to get them into a good shape even without blow drying BUT, the one corner of my receding hairline is way bigger then when I put my hair to the left side (sidepart right) and it overall looks stupid on me, really stupid, even my Hair stylist when I asked this or this side she said no not this said (but she looked into a mirror and not straight onto me) and even tho it's where the hair fall better and "kinda" look better without any stress and styling. And on top of that my nose tip kinda goes to the right for about a millimeter and it would perfectly balance it out when I part my hair on the right so it goes to the left (the opposite of where my nose goes to) But than again.. to this side I feel like I look 100 times uglier then ever, even tho the hair itself looks better then. And my hairs to the right /sidepart left(same side where my nose goes to) gives kinda more volume but to get them there and that they look good is so stressful and doesn't work without hours of blow drying.. and it also does not looks THAT great when looking at the hairs alone.. just both sides look like shit on me and I have no idea what else I could do.. there's just no other hair cut that looks good on me with my forehead and receding hairline. I kinda have a oval shape but I think my big round ears make it more round and/or my forehead make it more heartshape.. because of my ears, really short on the sides is impossible or my ears looks like as if I have dumpo ears
