Doll Collector Weekly Recap #2 Ft. MF Draculaura Reroot, Hair Restyles, Bratz GNO Doll Hunt & More!

- I had super fun and busy week as far as dolls go!
I went on a doll hunt for the Bratz Girls Nite Out dolls that have been popping up at discount stores and was successful in obtaining 4 out of 5 dolls from the line!
These dolls were sold at Target and I never had the chance to get them before they disappeared off shelves so I'm ecstatic to have found them for $15 each!
I also wanted to feature some doll customs that I have been working on, namely a reroot for Monster Fest Draculaura!
I also painted some of her accessories to elevate her look and I think she turned out stunning.
Catty and MF Lagoona were also on the docket and I did some subtle changes to them as well!
Lastly, I wanted to discuss some current doll topics, such as the flop Mattel Creations sale that was meant to offer a second-chance to Fang Club members to purchase previously sold out dolls. The sale was a bust and of course I wanted to throw in my two cents!
I also touch upon the new Monster High Skullector RuPaul doll and share my excitement for new G3 releases as well!
This is a long one but I loved compiling a week of all my current doll happenings into one video!

Got my Catty yesterday. I drove to a store 35 minutes away from me because I checked the app and saw she was there.
When I approach the aisle I didn't see her anywhere and I tore them shelves up and was devastated I even asked a worker to go check the back and something told me to look up. Cause in my Denzel Washington voice "I'm leaving here with something" 😂
Her boxes was laying on the side so all the little illustrations were showing and I see her pet amulet and a little 13 Thank goodness I'm tall but I just reach up there and grab it. I took all four down and picked two. I restyled her hair chromed her ears, nose shoes, and accessories and I love her so much.
I love your story, the details are so vivid haha! I relate to your determination in finding the dolls you want, Catty really is worth it!

I grabbed a Scaradise Draculaura for $8, which is nice price to customize a doll. I only made her eyeliner & lips darker. And redressed. Painted the details on her shoes. She's got nice saran hair. My Scaradise Frankie is also my customized doll. So far just made her lips dark blue.

How can I know what kind of hair my dolls have..? Is there a better quality/what are the differences? 🥴
@@SofiaDeligianniprofile Chad Marvelous on CZcams has a great video that explains them all. I think it's labed "hair types". It was in the last few months. Saran feels soft & polypropylene ( poly) feels dry & like straw.

I know people who work in retail management. Defective product is NOT resold. It’s destroyed and written off for tax purposes. It’s 100% illegal and tax fraud to resell them. Typically a sale like this is product found during inventory. Mattel waaay overhyped the sale which was a huge mistake. They should just quietly put them up as fan club exclusives with no announcements.
My husband collects limited edition flannel shirts from Dixxon, the best ones sell out in a day. When they do their semi-annual inventory if they find sold out limited edition stock they put it on the website for sale without any announcements.
I’m really enjoying all your videos, thank you for all the restyles, so beautiful 😻. I am in the uk & got the new monster high skulltimate mysteries series, I love the face screenings but would love to see them with better quality hair.
I did try to get Elvira on that sale, but she just said sold out before the timer went to zero & never changed after. Others had the posting at least change to "available ".
Yeah I heard it was rough. Mattel has a tough time getting their stock sorted out

I think they’re roughly the same height! Catty is on a Rainbow High stand so she might look a bit taller
