I kinda hope that the reason majority of the team have the same "powers" (just being some form of Supersoldier or infiltrator or something) isn't because theure supposed to be a "Dark Avengers" but actually more like an extraction spy team sort of. More FBI type infiltrate and extract thing. Which coulf also explain Ghost being on the team.

The Thunderbolts are going to take on Sentry? That makes about as much sense as the Suicide Squad going up against Superman. Without Kryptonite.
They might have to nerf him, because his complete molecular control of reality puts him a good bit above Yelania's guns.

@@SimonLYW because Thunderbolts. Like the comics and general concepts of the team. They're reformed Super Villains. Often ones that have been caught and imprisoned on the Raft prison.

Sentry was such a great comic! Could be a reasonable shoehorn into the Fantastic 4 into this universe as well. With Mr Fantastic being the one that whipped everyone's memory of Sentry.

I still do have a problem with the thunderbolts lineup having 3 super soldiers tho most of the villains that would have been perfect are dead

My hopes for this movie is that it will go back to having realistic, grounded, well-choreographed action scenes like in Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Civil War. Not just a bunch of meaningless energy blast CGI scenes like what we've gotten lately. I also hope that the story is more grounded too.
Watch bond or bourne identity movies if that what you want but in comic book movie I wanna see comic like things happening

It makes sense they'd do a video like this not only because Flo Pew is good on social media, but also because there hasn't been an MCU movie in a while and we've had delays because of the strikes.

The cylinder is the elevator in the video they are analyzing in the background. The largely built set looks like is could be part of that scene as well.

I actually love the Avengers World Tour run by Jason Aaron. If they combine that plus Mendis’ Dark Avengers run that’ll be an awesome film IMO

I’m actually interested in what theyre doing with the super soldier side of things with Cap 4 and Thunderbolts, i never dove into those comics much
I think its great for them to do a teaser like this to get the fans hyped, they definitely banked on Channels like this grabbing on and sinking their teeth into it to break down for fans to get them more excited.
I really want more with Yelena, Clint, and Kate. I thought that the Hawkeye series was really good.
Marvel knew that we would want you to break down something like this, that is why they did this 100%.

What am I most excited about in this movie? …Bucky. That’s it. Really don’t care about anyone else, well there is Yelena, but mainly Bucky…and how are they going to tell this story since Sentry is supposed to be so ultra powerful.

On the official presentation picture, when you look closely at the hand of the Red Guardian, it fells like it's not his own hand. It looks like the hand is coming from behind. 🤔
I feel like ghost being in the thunderbolts team is so random?? But I was also kind of hoping they change taskmaster to be more accurate to the comic version but we’ll see I guess 🤷🏻♀️

I'm intrigued by the movie. I don't know what to expect from it though. I need it to be relevant. A cool heist movie is okay, but I i need this plot to advance us into Marvel future. The celestial head as field for feud is a great idea. Hope it is what's actually going down in the movie
I’m most excited about how the characters are going to interact with each other. I loved the comedy elements in the falcon and winter soldier because they were just going at each other.
The set piece could also be them visiting Siberia where Bucky was held and that’s where they created Sentry
I have confidence in thunderbolts. This could be a great movie if they do good. Problem is if it does it will most likely be pushed to the side until they need them again.

They're doing it for the same reason DC did Suicide Squad. They're trying to recreate the success of Guardians of the Galaxy by taking a random group of unknown characters, and forcing them to fight together.
They wouldn’t wait for 10 years to try to repeat the same formula.

14:25 I will say if they are doing a suicide squad story type, that I feel like Ghost, Taskmaster & Red Guardian could die by the end of the films, I feel like those characters would make us understand the stakes of the marvel suicide squad

If I had to guess the premise of the movie, it’d be that this is a group of characters who all want to be heroes and all want some kind of redemption for past sins. Where I would see Suicide Squad be a comparison point is that their promised “red ledger wipeouts” are a big lie and they’re actually cannon fodder…and the fun would come from them going, “uhhh, F*** THAT.” So kind of a reverse Suicide Squad?

No Baron Zemo?
Unfortunately he wasn’t included in the concept art reveal for the movie, but also because the MCU changed his origin and his motivations/philosophies, it makes sense he was left out
I so hope we get just a little bit of Zemo, just enough to make it awesome...
I'm still holding out hope. Can't reveal everything from the start. Low key feel he'll come out after the second act after they've lost their shit to sentry and put together a plan A-team style.

Well I am excited to see they come together as a team that's the most importantly thing that I am looking forward Thunderbolts got a lot of the cast and bringing back some of the characters that we knew Bucky Barnes, Yelena, Red Guardian, Ghost, US agent and taskmaster and of course Val 👈. I'm excited to see Lewis Pullman joining MCU Thunderbolts play Sentry and Geraldine Viswanathan joining MCU as well 🙏👏💯. As long they come together and why are they here how to come as a team
I would have liked to have seen Atlas and Songbird on the team in place of some other characters.
