I literally dream of one day having a backyard like yours. Shame it will probably just remain a dream….you are blessed but seem to know it and appreciate it. Great channel!!!
👍 Thank you! Truly blessed everyday. A ton of work, sacrifices, and unfortunately, too many hardship experiences but we are fully blessed !
Your catch, clean, & cook blue crab videos literally taught me everything I needed to get started. Now, I’m throwing 20 down at a time on the grill and our family LOVES it.
Next, I’m going after the mangroves you did a wonderful informational video on. I’m not far from the pass. You’re awesome man, and the fishing community benefits so much from your tips and knowledge.
Hard to beat them grilled blue crabs, many will say otherwise, but I say dont knock it til you try it for sure!! Glad to hear!! Thank you!!!!! Tight lines
That type of fishing is so underrated. Great video..
Man I love watching your videos! Love saltwater fishing period! The best part is your videos are very informative keep it up!
Spent a lot of my childhood in Bear Point and moved back to OB a few years ago. Always been a deep sea fisherman but your vids have given me a passion for inshore fishing. Couldn’t do it without you help. Great informative videos.
Glad you enjoyed it

I live in the Midwest and can’t fish in saltwater, but I do fish in freshwater. Watching these videos makes me want to fish in the ocean, and your are the only saltwater channel I enjoy watching. God bless you, and may good luck come your way
I have caught 2 black drums around that size. So much fun, and absolutely amazing to see them swim away. They are like dinosaurs. Nice job!
And it’s amazing how you can catch big fish right in your backyard
Great video showing that you can catch big fish anywhere as long as you are aware of current conditions. Thanks bro!
Another great Bama Saltwater fishing episode! Can’t beat it!

Good morning I hope you are doing great and you are one of my fav CZcamsrs ;)

That hangout fest was a pain for traffic,
Speaking of dispatching fish, when I was fishing in St. Croix, the fishing guides kept a bottle of rum (Cruzon brand, what else?) and would pour rum into the gills of the fish. The alcohol provided a quick and merciful death.
Love the content you push out! Look forward to every video you come out with makes me exited to see on my CZcams page :)
That was fun. Great to see them beautiful fish so respected by an awesome guy. Your mom and dad did good😊.
Tanks for posting your videos
Some very nice black drum. They are always fun to catch! Bought some of your pomp rigs while I was down in April. Wound up offshore and haven't tried them. Same this month. Great videos, thanks for posting!

Thanks!
I love the shout out to our king at the end, good stuff man!!
Another great video from the best!
Good vid!
I've no problem going for big uglys just to release, fine fighters. Make good trap bait too. Gonna have to try a 12-14" sometime, just not in any hurry to do so.
Went to a park I used to be at daily when I lived a handful of blocks away from it, been better than a month since I'd been there. As I was helping out a guy to learn how to throw a 'ring castnet' I looked down over the sea wall and there was a big ugly just looking around for some crabs. Was atleast as big as those you got. Watched for about two minutes, wasn't concerned with us at all. I spooked him when I looked at the guy and he was getting ready to throw on it, my arm motions stopping him spooked the black and he shot out of there-they can move.
Those barges and tugs displace a lot of water, they push a lot of water, and their props make a giant hole behind them. As a kid in a canoe on the Mississippi it could get worrisome when a 10-12 section long, 4 wide, 2-3 tugs pushing, going up river went through. I've yet to see a wave on the gulf as huge as those wakes could be.
Great video...great fish..you rock love gulf shores area..
Just bought a couple of your rigs. Look forward to using them!
Dang good video, thanks for sharing your experiences ✅💥✌️

That bead is a good thing to keep
the sinkers from rubbing on the

Nice drum!
Keren spot nya, mancing di pinggir aja masih bisa strike babon 😺🤙
awesome
3:50 I would use a cordless drill and predrill a say 1/32 hole for the hook, or what ever size the hook is and a tad smaller, 1/8. 1/16
That push boat carries many types of oils and pertolium to ports and refineries each barge carries 30,000 barrels I used to work in that industry out of Houston, TX. The farthest I've been is to Decatur, Al.
We catch those in the fall here in florida
Sometimes at night you can hear them making grunt noises out in the water
I would love to see a trippletail trip on the new boat.
100% in the plans !
once went out for giant reds in the bay when I was like 9, theres a picture of me with a fish bigger than me, was an awesome day. we also used crabs for bait, me, my brother, and my dad caught like 4 or 5 that day.
That's awesome !
That is in between 40 to 50 pounds I Blackdrum fish all the time I know I’m only 13 but I do it whenever it season I go all the time in New Jersey btw love ur videos
Awesme catch from your "front yard"
I like these videos
I've caught more saltwater fish tossing bait on a fish finder rig ithan any other way. Simple but very effective! Great fish and video!
Fully agree, simple is best.
what other kinds of fish can you catch from your back yard?
We call them "Big Uglies" over here in Texas! They're beasts to land though! Wish I was on the water now instead of at my workdesk!
Yup! We do too haha. They're very exciting and "stress free" to catch in a sense
Hey Bama! When are you gonna start charters? If so I’d be interested!
Pretty cool how you go fishing with your parents.
I caught 1 in rockport texas off the bank with frozen shrimp from heb. Weighes 22.7 lbs inwas using 20lb Berkley big game mono
That's a good one !
New sub ! Liked 👍😊🤩
Thank you! Welcome to the channel
I caught a blue crab on a kids rod it was so cool
Hey, whatcha doing today?
I don’t know. Might go make a CZcams video catching a blackdrum the back yard.
Not many can do that! Cool!
that's a beautiful reel man :o Van Staal?
you have good gear shouldnt have a problem
Looking for advice!! We love your videos & are coming to Orange Beach from Wyoming. Do you know somewhere we can RENT poles? We cant really fly with them.
Hey man i work on the boats that push those barges ans we push anything from oil and gas to benzene and etc. looks to me like that was a chemical barge so likely benzene.
That's neat! Thanks for the info
@@BamaSaltwater Yeah no worries
good morning
I love your videos man you're so chill and very detailed, what reel was that you were using, I'd like to get one.?
It's a ZeeBaas and Van Staal
@@BamaSaltwater thank you I hope everything is going well there re: hurricane I'm from fla, thanks again
Have you ever tried fishing for flounder in your back yard?
Golding barge line. Brings regular gas and premium gas to the docks between Pensacola and Freeport Florida.
Black drum slow tanks u set the hook like hitting a brick wall
Do you still have a promo code for the Sord knives. I'm wanting 9 inch medium flex and 9 inch serrated.
Do you think it would help having a kayak ready to get in to go out and get them out of the pilings? I think it's really great you can walk out in your backyard and catch monster fish like that!
It'd be more trouble and hassle than it's worth for sure lol But it's fun nevertheless
We have the same shihtzu
Do you have any merchandise
Awesome catch and enjoy your videos. I've got a question about the Gulf state Park pier. When purchasing your AL license, does the pier pass allow you piers access to the pier without paying the fee? Reason I ask, one pier employee let me on without pier fee then the next day another employee got belligerent and said that piers pass wasn't the same fee. It plainly states in the region book that it is for pier access when purchasing this option on your fishing license. Please enlighten me since you fish the G.S.P.P. alot. Thank yu
