The BEST SOUTHERN FRIED CHICKEN WINGS!!!
• HOW TO MAKE SOUTHERN F...
I’m from Jamaica 🇯🇲 but I live in New York City and I never put my oxtail in the oven before I sure will try it because that looks delicious 🤤
You should definitely try it and let me know what you think! I love Jamaican oxtail, but this recipe is a fusion of Southern style oxtail and Jamaican oxtail but totally different from both. The oven gives it a rich flavor and texture that I'm confident you will enjoy!
Puerto Rican here. Excellent recipe!! Lowered the temp however to 275 and cooked for 4 hours.
Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed the recipe, you can never go wrong with "Low and Slow"! 💪🏾💯👌🏾
I’m from the Caribbean and I have never tried the oven method. But like they say u learn something new every day. Thanks 👍🏾
Thanks for watching! If you try the recipe, let me know how it turns out!
I’m from Houston, too! I’ve always cooked mine in the oven, but cooked them 400 degrees for four hours, and they come out nice. I would like to try it your way, with all the seasonings you I use. You gave my anxiety though, because I CANNOT for the life of me, touch raw meat with my bare hands. 😂
Excellent job! 🎉
Thank you! 😃
🔥🔥🔥
Thanks man! 💯💪🏾

The oxtails look delicious, but my question is where did you get those tongs!! Never seen tongs like that before and they seem perfect for getting up under the food and lifting it up. I gotta get me one!!!!!
I think I got it from Amazon if I'm going to be honest lol
@@houstoneats1807 Coooool. Thanks for replying. I'm going to check to see if I can find them RIGHT NOW!! LOL!!!!
Where did you find the olive oil
They sell it at HEB, but if you don't live in Texas, you can order it from Amazon.
How come you didn’t sear over the stove then transfer to oven? Do You think it makes a difference?
The searing does make a difference, it creates what is known as a 'Maillard Reaction', which creates another depth of flavor and appealing appearance. I didn't have time to sear while recording, so I substituted with the browning liquid that also adds flavor and color. Hope this explanation helps lol
You deliver?
I am currently not taking orders. But thanks for the inquiry!
@@houstoneats1807 I'm in New York.
Open up a spot here.
I would support.
Let me know.
Peace.
How many pounds of oxtail in this recipe please?
2lbs of oxtail
I seen packs on sale for $8 I got every pack
Seems like it would be salty with all that stuff that already has salt, and salt, no?
😂😂😂😂
A fair assumption, but actually, no. They come out seasoned perfectly lol
I am assuming a lot of the ingredients are salt free❤
"THAT'S A THING OF BEAUTY FAM" WHY YOU SOUNDING LIKE G RICH 😆
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Not to much browning guys it makes the meat bitter use soy sauce to help get the color
Nope
Nope?
