What the reporter needs to get right is that there's a very distinct difference between a tourist (who might stay in SA for 7-14 days) and an economic migrant who is probably going to be living in a lower income areas with poor depressed South Africans..the average British or American tourist would have never even heard of the word xenophobia and wont know what it means..

Lol Nigerians are weirdly obsessed with South Africa& we don’t even compare ourselves to them or rest Africa. This lady says “Nigeria is centre of attention and then SA comes along and takes the focus”(what a weird thing to say) but literally no one is clamoring to visit Nigeria unless they are from there during holidays. SA is one of the most visited countries on continent for pleasure and business (genuine tourists), only behind Morocco in numbers. Nigeria isn’t even top 20 visited in Africa
