Dude my PB Larry came off a tournament series, 7" sweet tater pie senko. Terrible cast trying to parallel a bank, was retrieving at a fast rate, across the surface, with a grass patch to my right, lure was probably 12' out when that grass patch split in half and exploded! That Larry launched as soon as it hit it probably 3' high and 7' in distance. Most epic shit I've ever seen in person. 6.3lbs. I'm sure that's nothing compared to your PB. But I live in NH lol

I'm in Lawton and I actually caught a nice 4-5lb largemouth at Medicine Park. I don't have a boat so bank fishing is all i do. If you can get a boat, fishing here is pretty good. Catfish, Crappie, Bass and Trout are everywhere here
I would recommend Lake Latonka if youre in the Southwest. They have some good lakes to recommend all over this place. btw congrats on the engagement!
just keep fishing. i used to average 1 bass a week maybe and now its more like 3 a day. the more you catch, the more you learn, so once you start catching em it gets easier

I know this is a very old video but I thought I would say something. Black and blue colors are some of my favorites to throw here in the Midwest. They work in most water conditions and match a variety of bait fish and things like that. Even the weird things like black and blue spinner baits and crank baits. In fact I caught my pb pike on the smallest black and blue spinner bait you can by by strike king. I love the videos man. Keep working hard thought you might like to see this while your in the amazon the second time. KEEP IT UP😂.
