    Hi Gerry,
Lovely job done, good crop and great video as always. I mowed my own silage today Saturday evening for bailing first thing on Monday morning. You are 100% correct about the moisture in the grass. Yours looks to be bang on. Mine has the fertilizer on it just the 7 weeks. Very stoney light land here in Corofin in Galway where we are and it Burns up in that intense heat of the past few weeks and just has to be mowed. But I think it's fine though. Look forward to seeing the JF in action.😎

When it works it’s super but when it doesn’t you can lose 30 minutes messing with it that you don’t have. Ya need a drone with a good follow mode. That will video you and keep you in shot it self. @Del-xr9nx Před 4 lety

gerry6420 thanks Gerry, it looks like good silage. It’s getting very scientific nowadays from what I’m reading. You must get all your p and k from the slurry then. I put 2,000 gallons slurry and 1 and half bags cutsward in last week in March and cut it 12th May. I believe too much N has a negative impact on the roots. I don’t mind a bit less bulk to protect the roots. The wilting seems to be crucial now... everyday is a school day.

not very efficient mowing. takes years to turn around and go the other way and using two tractors when u could just put a mower on the front.
