If u gets Sahara communication failed..try holding power on and volume up button together..it worked for me...if ur updating it in 2021 it will downgrade ur android to pie...but it's better than a phone stucked at bootloop..thank you

Thanks a ton, Keshav! Flashed a random Magisk module and device got stuck in boot loop, tried resetting it with TWRP and every time I booted up just got a black screen. Was hopeless and I came across this video of yours, all fixed now

Really useful guide..When I installed using this method device booted successfully. After restart I received a message that device is corrupt and I am stuck in bootloader.

how do i know if my damage is just the display or if the phone is bricked, coz my phone vibrates when on and makes a few sounds plus charging led but otherwise black screen, no fastboot/recovery either. do i get the screen looked at or do this process?

Hello there, my phone was working well a day before but suddenly screen started flashing and when I restarted the device it wouldn't go past the circle loading screen. I did all the steps you said but no luck. Still stuck at the loading screen. Your help is much much appreciated. Cheers.
Same accident happened to me phone was perfectly working in the night then i slept in the morning it getting heated like hell then i switched off the phone with lots of affords as the phone was not responding to the commands during that morning accident after all of this when phone getted normal when the heat was gone i tried to switch on the phone then i was surprised it shows me the UI same as when i bought the phone where you select language agree to terms then set all the things but the phone never go forward from that UI after 2,3 minutes it switch off and on itself always

Great video. Was able to do all tasks as in video and was happy that I was able to complete. Unfortunately the op6 would start but the screen was black and it didn't proceed further.
And some hope is there as the notification light was on for sometime.
Forgot to mention one thing, the phone didn't reboot itself after the completion of installation process. Please suggest if any other step is missing.

decrypted, rooted and running the latest Pie OB. Time to upgrade it has
come and I'd like to have it as stock as possible in order to do so.
Will this procedure do it all at once? (Reencrypt, lock the bootloader
and bring it to a stock Oxygen OS)...also, would the drivers you linked work for the OP5?

Another tip to guys in same situation...if u can't update the driver and it says windows has the best drives... unplug the phone and plug it with pressing volume up and down together... and you won't have to update driver and msm will work as the man told

I followed his step by step until 6:50, at that time my device after connected does not present this drive ... I connect the USB cable it automatically connects already in the screen of fastboot, where no action works, does not go into recovery, does not turn on, does not recognize folders on PC
check in device manager if the device is detected properly in fastboot mode

Mine didn´t work, it restored, rebooted, but when it starts do move those white balls around the red one it simply stops in the middle and doesnt initiate the phone. Any ides of what I could do to solve?

I'm traped in the 5.3 (the ota update does't work and a manual update also not) . I'ts possible to undo this process and comeback to full original system?

Hi, Thanks for the very precise instructions. I was able to download the files successfully. I disconnected the OP6 from the computer once it started to boot up. Then I ran into a snag. The phone did not reboot completely. I only saw the powered by Android logo but not the OP insignia and the red dot. The phone went silent with only a blue light in the status indicator light on the top. What do you think might have gone wrong? How to resolve this? Thanks.
Looks like a hardware issue to me although I would suggest you check xda forums for your device
