  • Taking cuttings from your favourite plants will ensure your garden and growing spaces are bursting with colour next spring. In this film, National Trust gardener Tom Longridge shows Rebecca Bevan, the author of The National Trust School of Gardening, how he raises pelargonium cuttings in the glasshouse at Goddards House and Garden in York. Any time from spring to early autumn is good for pelargonium cuttings. They need some warmth to develop roots so avoid taking cuttings during winter or prolonged spells of cold weather.
