I fitted air horns to my Yugo many moons ago. People tend to pull out in front of you when you drive a Yugo, don't know why. Anyway took it for an MOT and I was watching them test it. One mechanic was under the bonnet when the other tested the horn , I'm sure he dented the bonnet when his head hit it.
I’ve got air horns fitted in yesterday in my Golf! Don’t need a relay at all, straight to the horn switch and it didn’t blow the fuse at first. They are loud and I love them! I don’t want something that the horns are too harsh or anything like that!
I’ve fitted musical ones straight to the horn before with no problems, but thought be on the safe side and put a relay on this time. I’ve upgraded these to a bigger set now, it’s in my other vids somewhere lol.
@@StupidBlokeStupidVideos how many miles do you get on a full tank ? I do deliveries on 2008 Aygo and full tank gives me 370 miles , is that good or bad
I was gonna point them forwards, but I thought best not as the thrust from them would push the car backwards… a bit like the gun on the A10 Thunderbolt.
Reminds me of when I fitted a couple of Maserati’s years ago. I got the wife to listen if the relay was clicking and then when I’d finished got her out again and told her to check again and gave it a good blast. Talk about shit herself I thought she was going to deliver the baby, 8 months preggers at the time. Stupid I know but we still laugh about it today, well I do. Great stuff, many thanks.
That’s brilliant 🤣. I contemplated a Dixie horn, but I fitted one on the past to an Astra van I used to have years ago and finding room for them was a pain in the dick.
@@StupidBlokeStupidVideos Them twin Maserati's were lethal, proper knee bucklers they were. You could drop a pedestrian on their knees with two blasts, the first buckles them and the second finishes them off.
I have a Peugeot 207. I’m no mechanic. I’d be worried taking a bumper off in case I couldn’t get it back on again. And the electrics baffle me. How much would my local little garage charge to fit some musical air horns?
Price wise I couldn’t tell you to be honest, you’d have to speak to them about it. Musical horns won’t pass an MOT though so if you are gonna get some, I’d wire them to a separate switch.
@@TheGreatest1974 the horn for MOT has to be of single tone, but if you keep the original and have the musical on a separate switch then the original will be used on the MoT and the air horn not part of the test
Hello there m8 Sorry, I wanted to ask you about something else, but I got banned from commenting by the Nazis with Google community for calling a terrorist "EVIL", the community believes that terrorists have feelings too when killing a 7-year-old girl. AAANYWHOOO; when I open my driver door, for example, it doesn't stop at the first click, it just shoots all the way out. Any recommendations? Is there a way to adjust it without having to disassemble the whole door? Thanx.
I don’t have electricity windows unfortunately. Easiest way to do it would probably be to move the switches to the centre of the car, or grow longer arms though.
Banshee from X-menses actually created when he ate a couple of these things, and they lodged themselves in an opposing horn figuration inside his windpipe.

Who'd have thunk that you would get the horn?

The little Bug trundles up to the Q7s, the Range Rovers and the X5s and just blows them all away with its massive horn. Excellent vid again.

Missed opportunity there to power the original horn off the relay as well, even louder :)
I could actually just T off the original horn wire for it to do the horn and trigger the relay, but I’ve other plans for loudness 😉
What's the original horn mounted to in nerf to replace that piece if metal

Hi, iv fitted air horns to my 107 and iv done the same wiring as you have and it keeps blowing the fuse what could the problem be?
Could he a few things. Could be a faulty compressor, but more than likely there’s a chafed wire somewhere touching the body of the car
Wished you lived local i would come and let you set this up in daughters car. Also can you get to the horn without dropping the bumper thanks.
You could possibly reach the horn but much easier to take the bumper off tbh
