    Hahaha, loved the waving flag reflecting in the RV window as you pointed out the features of that military strength hose. Y’all are good. Have a great week. Here in Texas, RVers, you included, needed that hose last February, but this week we need sunscreen. Go figure.

    You guys rock! Really excited to see and hear more about the new Ford. I’m thinking about one to replace my Tundra.. Anyway… thanks for the heads up on the hose. Just bought one, used your code, and I found the offer warmer weather hoses as well… so I’ll give that a try till winter comes back around. Thanks again and safe travels!

      That’s awesome Brian! The nofreeze continues to do its job for us! We just had to use it in West Texas for a few days! I’m curious to how the warmer weather ones perform? All the best and safe travels to you too! Cheers!

    Damn they are crazy expensive. I’ve been on the fence for buying one versus just making my own for half the cost.

    • @ONWorldTravel
      @ONWorldTravel  Před 2 lety +1

      They are pricey but the quality is immediately noticeable. If you’ve got serious DIY skills and can make something of similar quality I would definitely go that route. But this hose is definitely a one and done buy that will last forever 👍🏽

    Would not recommend buying from them. Not sure if they are still in business as unable to get anyone to answer the phone. Returned my hose in December and was promised a refund. Kept emailing them and last I heard from them was March and Jeff said I would get a refund within a few days. Still waiting and have not heard from anyone in months. Good luck ever getting a return or your warranty covered.

    So the "pigtails" are heating elements? and you need to plug this in. May wanna spell out the obvious for the newbies. Bet this hose is standard for Tiny Homes in snowy winter climates.

  • @summervogel467
    @summervogel467 Před rokem

    The pigtails and heat tape were sufficient for keeping it unfroze? You didn’t have to add another heat source to brass connections?

    I've been through 4 Camco hoses in just over a year. I just got a pirit hose but it is leaking with the female brass coupler. I am sold on the no freeze hose after watching you. But... Would you mind sharing where you found your brass coupler? It looks like way better quality than the flimsy ones I just bought from Lowes and Home Depot which broke or leaked immediately. Thank you!

    • @ONWorldTravel
      @ONWorldTravel  Před 2 lety

      Hey Jen! WOWZA! 4 camco hoses and a pirit? Sounds like you’ve been through the frozen hose ringer 😩 I’m sorry! But happy you found this brand. We love ours. 2nd year and still looks and works like brand new.
      The brass couple comes WITH the hose! Idk what brand it is but it truly is top quality. 👌🏽 you’ll get it when you order the hose. Hope it works out for ya! (And don’t forget to use the code to save $12-$70. We get a tiny kick back too.)
      Safe travels!

    I’ve been looking at the No Freeze Water Hose, both the water hose and the sewer hose and I’m willing to pay for these because I too do not want to rebuy anything, I want the best quality. Have you used the No Freeze Water Hose sewer hose and if so, how did that work for you?

  • @thomashanlon9091
    @thomashanlon9091 Před 2 lety +2

    why don't you just fill your water tank, then use the water from your tank? Put the hose away after filling your tank, it will not freeze in your compartment. No need for the heavy freeze proof hose.

    • @weaponxnova6794
      @weaponxnova6794 Před 2 lety +1

      Yes it can freeze if it gets cold enough, and they don't have tank heaters. That hose is cheaper than fixing a busted holding tank.

    • @ONWorldTravel
      @ONWorldTravel  Před 2 lety +2

      @weaponxnova You got it! Tanks heaters or not - filling our tank every few days, and having to monitor water would be waste of time for us 🙃
      We pay to be at an RV park, with running water available, and with this hose it allows us to have flowing water at all times. IT'S AWESOME.

      Insulate your hose with copper pipe 1/2” insulation and wrap the hose with heat tape before insulating and zip tying. Real heat tape that you plug in to an outlet not reflective flex fix tape they used in the video. That tape is for flex duct hvac and does not have any heating properties besides being reflective. Use zip ties to hold the insulation to the water hose so it’s easy to disassemble. All said and done you can probably do this for $250. Better than spending $800 and buying these products. I have used this method and it works just as good as the camco hose I have. Plus I can run the water hose as long as I need.

    • @dkbrinlee
      @dkbrinlee Před rokem

      @@LIBERTY0RDEATH I just bought a 120’ heat cable and will zip tie it to what pipe will be exposed to the elements. The other 80’ will be buried. The whole thing is wrapped in pipe insulation as well. Should be enough to stop it from freezing. 🤞
