1) Big that you have to remember out of everything remember this one Floridian rule we are taught that all water ponds and rivers even the beach there is a gator 🐊
2)true about The bug. But to really keep them and mosquitoes off of you just put on a little bit of baby oil. Works wonders with all our insects here in Florida.
3) on our East Coast matter where you go unless you’re headed towards more of the keys or gator Allie you are for ever and ever surrounded by swampland and also our beaches water is completely brown due to the port Canaveral.
4) also no matter where you go no matter who you with somebody is always going to bring up NASA or Saint Augustine. 🙄

I have been to beaches that are much nicer then the ones here... This area gets some real bad heat along with bad lighting.. And the democrats that are moving here will ruin this area in know time like they did up north.. Just wait until the first hurricane we get watch how they will freak out.. The weather people thought Florida was going to get a trop storm and not so but all of the new bees went to the stores and cleaned out the water along with batterys. Duh clueless. Hurricanes are the worst it makes this area dead for weeks no power no food and no gas I know I have been threw 4 of these storms and it was hell... Insurance rates keep going up so do deductibles.. So if you think that this place is a nice area to live your nuts.
