When I do this I am only able to retrieve what is in the transfer containers internal buffer, and I can not see or retrieve what is in other containers connected to it. I have to exit the interface, wait a few second, then re open it again in order to again only retrieve what is in its internal buffer. You can imagine that with a mine producing 27,000 ore a day and I can only retrieve it 80 at a time through this container, its more than a little time consuming.
You can access you ship storage from in town or outpost as well. Just FYI, you do not have to be in the ship to access & transfer between while in a main city (tested from store) or outpost.
@@_Brando_69 There are 4 landing pads. Your ship only uses 2 of them. One is the large round one with a single ladder. The other is a square with two ladders and NO boxes. The other two are for automating resource distribution, they each have containers mounted to them. If you are placing them down, your ship will never land on them as they are reserved for magical NPC ships which show up once you have established a link between two such landing pads.
I have a Outpost on Andraphon that has iron berillium and aluminium, i set it up so i have 3 extractors for each and 5 storage containers for each resource, the 3 extractors all go to the 1st storage container which is then linked to the 2nd which is linked to the 3rd and so on tothe 5th container the last container is then linked to the transfer container all done in that same order, the resources all fill the last one first then the 4th the 3rd 2nd and 1st container gets filled last and the transfer container only lists that berillium is going to it, i cant figure out for the life of me wtf is wrong with what ive done??? this game is so frustrating at times.
Is there a way to link all of my containers to a transfer container so I can land and dump all my resources from my ship’s cargo? I’m not even going to be mining at this one outpost. I just want a place to dump my shit I don’t want to sell.
The transfer container has very limited storage. Is there a way to create more storage in the trannsfer container? Are there bigger ones in the game? Do they stack?
His guide isn't quite exact. The main route of these, to be 100% effective is this: create 5 extractors & 5 storage boxes. Link each extractor with the 1st box and link that box with each 4 other boxes. Now link the last box with the transfer container. Job done!
@@Antoon55 why? I have 50 storages and I get all of my resources, from it, directly on my ship. The only downside is that it doesn't transfer everything in one go. For 5k Al, Be, Fe, Alkane & Water, which are 25k resources, I needed to make a back & forth in the ship cargo hold screen. But, hey, it does the job, right?!

I thought it was so you could move the items while in different parts of the galaxy. But this just saves you a trip from carrying the goods yourself while at the base. Pretty lame. I really don’t like the base system. Why isn’t there an infinite storage at each base that can be connected like in fallout 4!!
You are thinking to small. I have a single mine producing 27,000 resources a day. Even with the largest container which holds 600 items it takes a lot of time to go through all of those containers and empty them one at a time. Ideally you should be able to access this link after you land on the planet and almost instantly transfer all of the contents of all of those containers into your ships storage, assuming you have enough storage on your ship. Sadly it is very buggy right now, but once they get it working, this is idea for any mass production items which you simply need to gather and take to a store to sell.

Seriously, you need to get out from the hate train to enjoy this game, don't let them brain wash you. I find this game highly enjoyable, 30 hours in and still addicted to it, nowhere near the end.

If you like standing there shooting 1.5mag per enemy to kill them lmao other than that people maybe like loading screens? Or maybe people like not flying their space ship in a game about space exploration 😂 i rly dont see it. I can not understand whats good about this game. But anyway, im happy youre enjoying it!
@zackwalkman8574 they are salty because the world finds such a mediocre space game exciting. Which is sad when true space Sims like X4 exist and well it does put this to shame even spacebourne 2 is better and it literally has 1 dev. The problem that is being pointed out is that Bethesda literally didn't try. They spent years on a game that literally has less features than a game that a single person has made. It's a shame because the space Sim in general is heavily poached by greedy devs. No one's mad that you like the game. It's just your praising something that has set the bar so low it tells all the real space Sim guys that you are either young or just haven't seen what's out there and what you should be expecting from a AAA studio.

This only works if you can land close enough to the base or have a landing pad. Won't work if you can't land inside the outpost build circle

Build a landing pad (small) and your ship will always land there, but I dont think it has to be in the circle
Half the time mine wont go in the ship building thing. One time it was there but was invisible could see it with the scanner lol
The landing pad is buggy. My ship will only land there half the time also.
