The way the "i always come back" line was used and it didn't make a whole lot of sense for the conetxt of the movie, they should've used that line in a scene, where you see springtrap's dead body then i springs back to life then the sceeen cuts to black then William says "i always come back" in his original voice then the credits roll
Should have said something slightly different because "I allways come back" didn't make much sense in that context

The scene feels so empty without some sort of audience reaction. Half the time the screams are louder than the movie
My entire theatre blew up in screams, I obv participated but damn, it was worth it
I watched it at home, all of the screens were from me
The problem with the cameos being CZcamsrs is that they take you out of the movie when you see it also it’s horror so there shouldn’t be a reaction like that

Cameo was great, and the "Ness" nametag was the cherry on top for the whole thing. Scott and Mat will always be fucking with each other when it comes to FNAF!

This scene made me have an out of body experience in the theater. At first I was like “huh, why is that voice so familiar” then I saw the close-up on his face and instinctively said out loud “Jesus Christ, that’s fucking MattPat!!”, after which he dropped the “it’s just a theory” line. I’ve spent so many years plundering the depths of art house, exploitation, and experimental films, but this is the most surreal experience I’ve ever had watching a movie. I’ve had less visceral reactions to August Underground or the Guinea pig trilogy. This is the cinematic moment that broke me.

I was watching the movie with my sisters and my older sister at this scene said "I think that guy Is a youtuber or something" and I was thinking his voice sounds so familiar, and then right when he said "That's just a Theory" I realized It was him and I literally started crying because of how happy It made me.

How? It's the same tripe that GoT had with Ed Sheeran, they played way too hard into the "Hey, look! It's that famous person! He'll say the line!". Would've been a solid scene without the "It's just a theory", which takes any immersion out of the scene whatsoever for people who know.

You’ve just described how most cameos work. They’re there to mildly amuse you with something you recognize from outside of whatever you’re watching for a second or two before returning to normal. Stan Lee cameos aren’t particularly “immersive” to anyone who knows(basically everyone, just like audience for this film) either but people love them all the same.
