First time I heard Meat Beat Manifesto was early nineties. I bought the 12" God OD, and later in a second hand store I found the 7" Strap Down. Still loving it to this day, many thanks MBM.
I saw these cats at City Gardens Trenton, NJ in the late 90s/early 2000s. This new track is Irresistible. Jack Dangers is 1 funky white dude; his grooves always hit like old James Brown to me which is such a compliment. I love the Godfather of Soul and his band was so tight; to be able to approach that level of "in the pocket" FILTH using machines and samplers is a testament to MBM's Excellence.
front242 and Peter Murphy tix in MIA missed as well, but I did get to Front Line assembly and Soft Moon and Boy Harsher. win some, lose some... getting old sux
This acidy dark and not peak hour material is a wonderful direction I'd like to hear a lot more of from JD. I love it all - and so happy there's been so much consistent output over the years and years... Cheers to that! And thanks for all the tunes and live shows and I really enjoyed the last show in Los Angeles with Ben Stokes and that front screen/back screen setup. Great! Kill a soundboy with that Danger(s)ous dub plate special dem - peace.
Jack, I had not realized there was a video for this! I was in SF around this time and saw Mark P. I will be back there in a few weeks, performing again and hope to see you. Best Wishes from Uncle Shok. ;)
Wild how some associatives I can remember so vividly from the very first listen down to the video , but others I forget almost instantly I guess it’s being drawn to something and overall key sounds
Incredible atmosphere
It's in my brain now, it's in my brain

@@JamiieMadrox Todavia siguen haciendo, aunque no se por cuanto tiempo. Jack no se aburre...
Meat Beat Manifesto essentially got me into this stuff all those years ago (Satyricon). And here we are, MBM is still basically the best.
Satyricon was great. It was creative and experimental, yet was very musical and accessible at the same time.
I always like music like this it's really good for any study.
MBM never disappoints !!!!!!!!!!!! PERFECTION !
Mind crippling! Purely amazing music.

Very chill MBM. Great stuff.
