- We planned to winter in Wrangell, Alaska. Plans changed! It is cold and Eric wants to go south for the winter. The Inside Passage is a challenge in winter, but we are going to try it! We leave Prince Rupert, BC heading south. We got some huge gusts of winds from the outflow in the Douglas Channel. We chat with the Canadian Coast Guard Search and Rescue Vessel that encourages to be safe during an upcoming storm. These are our adventures in Alaska on our Nordhavn. How we live and where we go.... and sharing information on our anchorages.

That's the plan! It will have to be different, but we are going to try to keep it going.

Yes water is the lifeblood on a boat, do you like me resort to bathing like a submariner when the water gets low, ie only washing in the sink and no showers? Or do you always stay on top of the situation, mind you I don't have a water maker.
That's what I was told! I laughed when we got to Washington with almost a full tank. :) The boat held over 600 gallons of water and we had 2 water makers! Eric does like to make sure we are prepared! Of course... my job is to not run out of food and that wasn't going to happen either!
