Interesting comment… BB and John Wetton were known to be huge fans of H Hancock in 1973-74. When possible they would go to his shows and also they would improv based on of HH songs from the Sextant era.
I think I remember reading that Fairport was using the same rented van that either Yes or Fleetwood Mac had used the weekend before. Cannot remember which.
+Samsgarden lol, that's a joke right? I get the feeling he was one of the few rock musicians of the 70's that really had no interest in drugs or the counterculture movement in general. He even says in this interview "I wasn't interested in the Summer of Love." Personally, that makes me like him even more.
