We have a desktop stand for the Instream, and it has a bracket in it that makes it easier to also attach the Instream to a tripod pk1.tv/pk1-instream-stand/
Hi Aaron. I am torn between this rig and the desktop stand. Is the Camera prone to shake if you operate this? Specially the camera is just on top. Is there a way you can convert this to a stand by putting an adapter(like a stand adapters that you attach with cold shoe mount?
The camera is attached by entirely metal parts so it's super sturdy on top of the stand. I would be more worried about the tripod mount tbh. We don't have a way to convert the cage to a desktop stand though.
In general, webcams do really poorly in low light, so make sure you've got a good lighting setup first. Some webcams are just never going to give you a good picture, and you'd be better off with a mirrorless or point and shoot if you want a better picture

I'm getting a Yolo Mini from Yolo shortly and I'm outlining some different videos for it. Ideally to show its ease of use to conduct a live stream podcast on location. The Cage would be a great piece kit for the setup.
Also, are there any other options on wirelessly linking cameras to the yolobox? I've got an event coming up where I really need at least 3 remote cameras (it's a concert). $650 a piece for the Holland 400s Pro is a little step.
There's a cheaper Hollyland model, the 300 series, which are also good. Anything cheaper than that you're going to be unhappy with, it'll be either short range or huge latency or both

Would you suggest to buy a Yolobox (not a pro) today? Pro is a bit too much for me. I have just received an invitation e-mail to NABShow and it seems YB Mini and Max are coming. But Mini seems to have only 1 HDMI input. I would go for original YB, but fear it might be quite dated and underpowered?
Sadly I agree the original yolobox is not a good purchase right now, it has a slower processor than the Pro, and they even put the same Pro processor in the new Mini. I also agree the Pro is a bit on the large size, and I really like the form factor of the original! I wish they would re-launch the original with the updated processor since I think it is still a great design!
@@aaronpk Hi Aaron and thanks for the reply :-) I have contacted tech support and they have confirmed, that Mini version has basically the same performance and features as a Pro. With 60 FPS it is targeted mainly at the gamers. Good news for the original YB - it is going to be upgraded to the latest HW in Q3 probably.
I would definitely go with the Pro over the original right now, there's a much better processor in the Pro and they've been able to add more features to it compared to the original. But if you don't need 3 inputs then wait a couple weeks because a little birdie told me something new is coming soon

You do have to unscrew the two side screws to take out the YoloBox, so it's not "quick" in that you're not going to pop it in and out quickly, but it's only two screws so setup is fast

If you're talking about the Hollyland wireless HDMI transmitters, they have HDMI out so you can connect that directly to the HDMI input of the YoloBox

I woory about the 3d printed parts. You can see the non finished print lines. I need something more robust.

No, the YoloBox is 16:9, but they have a second device, the Instream, that is 9:16. I have a video about that on my channel too

Purchase a Yolobox and got a PK1 Kit that doesn't fit the Yolobox.
