- A selection of massive carp and brilliant fishing tips from Korda carp anglers Danny Fairbrass, Neil Spooner, Julien Blot (France) and Team Korda. In this episode (Part 2) of Thinking Tackle Online episode 4 the team continue to fish during the annual sales summit at Trois Iles, France. Carp fishing tips and techniques are shared as the big carp just keep coming. In part 1 we got off to a great start with Jon Mann bagging two forties in the first two nights, he had the fish of a life time in the shape of an 87lb common carp… watch as the team continue to catch PB’s and talk tactics.
Korda boss Danny Fairbrass continues his session and chose not to fish for the first two days, “for me the social side is just as important as the fishing”. After seeing fish Danny he started to fish on the third night. Baiting for 24 hours he had his first bite the second night he fished, proving that patience and the right tactics can create a chance even in a unpopular swim. An amazing 52lb mirror carp was the prize and Danny talks through the Combi Rig he used to catch it, a rig used to great effect on similar venues all over France. In true Thinking Tackle style Danny also gives away some really useful nuggets of information that will 100% you to catch carp on your next outing.
Arjan Braad aka RJ (Netherlands) demonstrates that following the rules doesn’t always work and re-echoed his swim before moving to deeper water. A decision that went against what would be a ‘normal’ approach. Fishing near an island, as a rule, the fish would stay close but it became apparent they were looking for deeper spots. A key piece of information led to Arjan fishing a plateau in a deeper area, leading to his first chunky winter carp of the trip. As the session goes on he bags a 40+ mirror… going from zero to hero.
Following part 1’s huge PB for Jon Mann it was going to be hard for any of the anglers to make such an impact during the trip… well step up Julien Blot (France). He was on a tricky swim with snags to fish to that required some super long casting, Julien had a slow start with a few bream, this quickly turned into something special as he began to get into the zone. Julien shares some great insights and tactics including small details that really did make a difference to his trip. As the week continues more fish including 2 PB’s follow and a huge session is the result. A real eye opening testament to an angler that adapted his style of fishing perfectly to the lake.
Not to be outdone; Jon Mann 4th fish in 4 nights… light baiting with a throwing stick and a high attract hook-bait done the business to keep his run consistent after choosing not to use a boat during the trip. Spooner gets in on the action with 2 carp from new spots, a change from part 1, with the biggest being 38lb 4oz. The preferred rig of the trip all round seemed to be the combi, Neil talks through exactly how he puts together his version. Listen as Spooner also gives some essential advice on fishing tight lines in certain situations and explains the benefits.

Another great thinking tackle video keep them coming guys
Absolutely loving the videos, can’t understand all the hate in a lot of the comments on the videos, Korda’s a very good company, always innovating new ideas and products, plus ppl are aware that Korda are also the founders of embryos lakes?? Which is basically protecting the future of carp fishing for us in the uk!!! Also everyone moans about them pushing products on the videos, well durr.... for one these ppl are sales people for Korda and Korda is a products company lol really baffles me what ppl are saying, if you don’t like it stop watching there videos and stop buying there products! Other then that keep up the videos Korda!
Really enjoyed this video, good to see the tactics used by the guys who sell the tackle. Definitely making me think!

When did they finally give in to using the spomb on film then?!
I guess the Korda Boom section is all of a sudden more valuable than gold lol.
Danny is a beast of an angler
Your deluded mate either that or you've recently had a lobotomy.
Do you have any advice for me when I fish in a 24 hour match at linear fisheries brasenose 2
spod the fk out of your swim with particles to keep the fish there there shoal fish and would soon move of you
I agree, spod the shit out your swim with some nice particles and soapy mix!
Thanks
Before you make stupid bad comments, remember that Korda post those Videos for free...
Just curious how many of the foreign anglers speaking they’re native language speak fluent English?
How many kilos of bait you think Donnie baited in his life
where can I buy fyber boilies?
Im using korda heli safe and please tell me guys why those beads are coming off during casting. Am I doing something wrong????
Maciej Raczkowski are you hitting the clip and feathering down the lead??
@@bobjobey3003 Yes mate! Always do that. I like the idea but since I've changed to different brand I've stopped having this issue.
Maciej Raczkowski I have been having the same problem with heli safes,5oz leads I use for long distance, leads flying off during casts and the plastic clip breaks! Not using it anymore for extreme range, too dangerous. Good in principle though
Only wish there was more korda product placement
thatsy it was droped by sky i think and its only on discovery shed now early mornings they cottond on to it just being free advertising for them
you mean Korda prodcuts on a KORDA VIDEO........I was expecting Nash.

Your depressing 😢
Plus de vidéo en français SVP ! Même si il y a les sous titres
I live in a 3rd world country and don't have access to this fancy tackle. Those yellow little balls you use can I carve circle balls from stryrofoam and nail polish it yellow. Do you think it will work or water of time?
S v I personally wouldn’t dude! Nail polish would stink and be very glossy, which will look very unnatural, if you haven’t got access to the fancy tackle then use naturals like corn or maize, even normal things you eat..... like meats, garlic cloves etc or look at making bollies your self?
S v however the stryrofoam is actually a good idea, just soak it in some sort of flavoured liquid and maybe food dye to get the colour you need
S v what country you from dude?
@@bobjobey3003 thanks allot for the tips man. I finally found bolies through face book. Local people sell them. I live in Montenegro. it's pretty much a modern place but postal system gets my packages lost all the time. So I stopped ordering online
Anyone know what make the jacket is what Danny is wearing
What’s the point of using bobbins if they’re on the floor?
vast active Dude he’s just asking a quotation! Chill out lol you can set your bobbins how ever you like, I see what your saying though, how would you see a back drop, but then if your fishing an area that your certain the fish isn’t coming back on the line then does it matter? Tight lines dude
ben freeman wtf you on about lol
WTH is Mr. Dove ???? miss him :(
L'incapacità di catturare anche un solo pesce da parte del team italiano, fa capire a tutto il mondo, oltre al team Korda, a che tipo di persone si sono affidati... Ahahahah
What good videos do you do.Do not put the subtitles in Spanish in the new videos.
Thank you very much.
how come everyone is using the same rig and all doing a how to guide ?? other than that great vid guys
Ryan Mallinder yeah I noticed that, all using combi rigs !
@@conormcgregor1978 well i guess they do work
Toujours pas de sous titres...

Subtitles
They're available Brendan, hit the settings icon (bottom right of screen) and select your preferred language 👍
So the French guy hits a 50x50cm spot from 120-130 meters? Get lost!
That spot on peg 4 beyond the island is over 130 yards more like 150 and a bit , I ain't bad at casting but the wind pushes into that peg .
My thought he used a boat
Turned it off after a few minutes. Subtitles, no thanks.
You could learn the lingo maybe?
Is reading that hard for you?
fischputza I must admit I am impressed by how committed some of you fan boys are.
Kenny Elton u can turn subtitles off in the settings
Kenny Elton ahhh i see what u mean now 😂
