Infinite Money Glitch
First up is an infinite money glitch! This method allows you to very quickly max out your gold to 100k or beyond. To do this, open bartering with a trader and select everything the trader has and drag it directly into your inventory. This adds the value of the items to the trader’s gold, and it doesn’t subtract the value from your gold. Then you can sell the items back to the trader for gold, and oddly enough the trader’s gold doesn’t decrease by much either when you sell them items back. You can do this over and over and both your gold piles will increase each time. The more items you drag across the faster you can build both piles. And if your stack of gold wasn’t enough, you can always use the old bag trick to take all of the trader’s gold too. Now you’ve got both massive piles of gold! Thanks to kingwill272 who told me about this trick.
This Melee Weapon is Secretly Great for Ranged Classes
Next up is Monster Slayer Glaive. Monster Slayer Glaive is a weapon that is probably overlooked because it doesn’t do an incredible amount of damage for being a two-handed weapon especially considering the other great options. But this Glaive is actually great as a stat-stick for ranged characters. Similar to how the Hunting Shortbow grants advantage on ALL attacks even melee, this melee weapon provides two bonuses that the item doesn’t even say it does! The weapon says that it deals an additional 1d4 damage against monstrosities - but this will also apply to ranged attacks. So if you dual wield hand crossbows, you’ll get an additional 2d4 damage if you wield this! Not only that, but the Glaive also gives a 1d4 bonus to attack rolls against monstrosities. So you’ll hit more often. And if that wasn’t enough - this also applies to spells. Not something you’d expect from the tooltip at all. And a nice bonus on top is that jump distance is increased by 5 ft - perfect for a spellcaster with annoyingly short jumping distance.
The Easy Way to Get OP Weapons
Next up is how to get OP Myrmidon Weapons - the easy way! Instead of using the trick to get your Myrmidon sent to jail and looting their weapon from the evidence chest - go to Larroakan instead and defeat him and his Myrmidons. He can be found inside Ramazith’s Tower - to get there just take the portal found in Sorcerous Sundries. After you’ve defeated the Myrmidons and Larroakan, long rest and when you return, there will be pouches where the Myrmidon’s corpses were. This gives you access to the Flail of the Vortex, the Trident of the Depths, and the Scimitar of Cinder. Each of these weapons have powerful Weapon Actions, especially the Flail of the Vortex which stuns for 2 turns. Since you aren’t supposed to get these weapons, there are no attack animations when you use them, so it does look a bit buggy.
Hidden Hag Dialogue
Next up is Hidden Hag Dialogue! You can get two different reactions from Auntie Ethel’s Corpse depending on if she’s wearing her Tarnished Charm. If you cast speak with dead on the hag she’ll talk to you even if you killed her, which is already odd. But not only that, but the tarnished charm seems to sort of tether her from death. This Tarnished Charm reduces the DC of the wearer’s death saving throws - and this translates into this different dialogue which has Auntie Ethel communicating with you much easier than if her corpse didn’t have it. With the charm she talks quite normally, while if you take the charm off her body before casting speaking with dead, like most other corpses the words are few and far between. She also answers the question, “Do you have any regrets” when wearing the charm whereas if you took the charm off her she’ll answer “only one, and you’ll never know.”
Ancient Servant Pet x
Next up is how to get an ancient servant pet. This pet can deal a ton of damage by using multi-attack against frightened targets. It also applies Mummy Rot which reduces maximum hit points and prevents healing.

Once again, I think you need to be reminded that Sovereign Glut is *not* limited to just monstrosities. He can, in fact, make undead from humanoids, and some of his strongest options are humanoids. You can read his ability and it literally lists what it won't work on.

@@CharlesBotero The strongest option is actually to use a tiefling child, because they can't enter initiative and thus will keep attacking in real time while everyone else is paused on your turn. It means that, in one turn, a tiefling child can do infinite damage.
Couple facts about aquiring the Necromancy of Thay book.
1. The trap outside the door does nothing except light the two braziers.
2. There is a key on the other side of the room near the wall with the lever to the exit which opens the barred door.
3. Enter turn based mode, take the book, then place another book on the pressure plate and you'll hear a second "click". This will let you take the book safely as it disarms the statues.
At no point during the cellar do you need to lockpick or disarm anything.
I... I never thought of Indiana Jonesing that pressure plate. Genius. Damn.
Food for thought, I think Ethel is actually a sea hag, according to the books in her hut. Something about being bad at making tea, not to mention all the sea trinkets in her person, and she takes on a pirates form.
A green hag is supposedly way more powerful kinda like beholder vs spectator

True but you can find books in the blighted village that make fun of sea and night hags but say that green hags are the best, a little for shadowing of what’s to come
Makes sense. I had thought that Auntie Ethel seemed weak for a green hag, despite being a difficult boss in the early game.

My first instinct would say no, cause just even multiselecting to move inventory on console does not seem to work for me with a controller
Larian basically patched every single possible exploit that involves merchants on console that it's just plain unfun. Pickpocketing is trash, max discount you can get at 100% attitude is like 40% and you need to burn like 2-3k good to even hit 100 attitude. Divinity 2 is miles better than this game in terms of money making

I have always been dragging items to buy like that and see the equal amount added to merchant so I didn't think much of it, I was like hmmmm I must have a lot of money to spare

I have played with the new Helldusk Armor Glitch.
Wanna know crazy stuff?
He has only 35 hp on the the actual boss fight in House of Hope making him easy to kill on one turn. But he indeed does not drop the armor anymore.
Tried the money glitch tonight; it works the first few times, then it stops working. I get the message that "party doesn't have sufficient gold" or something like that or it just won't drag across. Sometimes, I end up with stuff stuck on one side or another, and the normal barter is set expecting an absurd amount of gold to buy a simple item. This can be fixed by finishing the transaction and restarting. Not sure why. Either way, it's been good for me to clear out the merchants of all their magical items, so either way, it's been a win and I do end up with positive gold, though not quite infinite as described per say.
Since I like to explore, I somehow ended up at the basement of that pirate club, went back up, expecting them to not know anything about it, and then BAM Aunty is back!
For the barred doors, you can also cast Reduce on a Small size character and they can jump through
I think you can save the grove and get heldusk armour by ignoring going to nettie and not picking up the tadpole until you clear the goblin camp/leaders and save halsin.
Just gonna casually send your cat to roast itself alive while you dust off that necromancy book, huh? Monster.
I did it after i updated BG3 today, so it should still be working :)
you can also use glut to make the bulette your undead servant 🙃 it's hard to move around because of its size, but it'll teleport with you if you fast travel, and it absolutely trivialized the fight with the duergar by the beach (like.. killed the main dwarf in one bite attack lol)
Word of warning for the Helldusk Armor exploit, you will fail to save the Grove when you do it and it'll be completely blocked off when you next return...unless you're able to wait to trigger Raphael after you've saved or attacked the Grove.
Raphael trick is no longer an option. With or without non-lethal, he's gonna disappear if his health touches 1.
I know you made this comment months ago, but you can 100% still get the hell dusk armor. I'm doing another play through right now and I have it equipped to tav. You can still ko him but you either have to jump straight into turn based mode or be really quick at looting cause he gets up pretty quick.
If you put the charm on other dead bodies and talk to them will it clear up their speech??

For the last "trick". If you have a oath breaker paladin, the oath breaker knight will attack you if you use silence on Raphael. In order to do the trick (you'll have to kill 2 party members, make sure to have enough gold or a resurection spell to reanimate them):
- #1 You'll have to aggro the Oath breaker knight with a sneak attack in order to do make him surprised (so he'll not one shot you next turn). After that do not attack again (to "block" the fight), and make sure that no other camp party members are close to the fight.
- #2 You'll have to take shadowheart, but sneak with her in order to avoid the fight with the Oath breaker knight. When you're far enough just throw the silence spell on Raphael (make sure to always attack him when he is silenced).
-#3 Now takes Asterion, sneak with him (in order to avoid the fight with oath breaker knight) and Shoot arrows on raphael. Every time you shoot an arrow, sneak again. Your chance to hit Raphael would be around 52% (with a level 3 asterion) so it's faster. It can be even faster if you switch between regular shot and "Sneak attack" shot (rogue ability), because "Sneak attack" has a little coldown, so it's faster to shot a regular arrow when it's on couldown. Do it until Raphael is low hp (around 5 hp to make sure to kill him with a melee attack). Makes sure to save when Raphael is low hp.
-#4 Now with Asterion, run toward Raphael. You'll aggro the Oath Breaker Knight but it doesnt matter. Now attack Raphael with your melee weapon (make sure to toggle no lethal attacks), if you miss the attack, just relog. You'll have to be really fast, when Raphael is uncouncious grab everything he has, do it before he wakes up again.
-#5 After that, you can attack with the Oath Breaker Knight (with the party member who sneak attacked him). The Oath Breaker will annilates him and Asterion and it will end the fight.
-#6 last step: Now you just have to revive Asterion and the companion who fought The oath breaker knight in order to get Raphael armor. Or you can just loot the armor on their corpse you chose.
Wish I would have seen this before I found out the hard way 💀

2:06 They patched the myrmidons weapon thing.
Summon them yourself and then steal their weapons by opening the preview window in their inventory screen multiple times rapidly until you manage to catch their weapon and drag it out. Then press Tab to open the party's inventories and deposit the weapon on anyone (since the game doesn't let you drop the weapon on the ground). Also works for the tier 4 summons :)
