Another fact that makes Rika awesome: She's a human. A NORMAL human. Not even with magic like Marisa. How many other humans are prominent in Touhou? And she's a freaking Ex-Boss.
My personal take on her is mad scientist. Makes her a good villain, and also juxaposes her against Rikako, after all, all we've seen Rika make is weapons...

Yeah, Rika deserves more credit as a villain. I think they could've made her into the main antagonist of the entire series if they wanted to. She's certainly fit for the role.

Rika, an actual human, in a magical place, full of non humans and humans that have powers.
It's been more than 15 years and I still thinking how tf Rika's tank can move horizontally while not turning its chasis to 90 degree ._.
A secondary track which requires a hydrolic piston of course the second track would be opposite of the msin tracks

RIKA
Rika (里香) is a tank engineer that appears on Stage 1 and the Extra Stage of Story of Eastern Wonderland, being the boss of those stages, where she creates a large number of monsters and starts hanging around the Hakurei Shrine while Reimu Hakurei is away. The reason for and method of creating all of these monsters and bakebake isn't clear at all.
Rika is known to have created machines that she herself created, including a few cannons, the Shrine Tank, the Flower-Tank and the flying tank Evil Eye Σ. Since Rika is an engineer, she ought to have excelled in mathematics, science and even engineering in order to create her tanks. However, on how she's able to do all this herself using Gensokyo's technology is unknown. In her speech patterns, she's shown to use the auxiliary "It's assuredly that-" (～なのです ~nanodesu).
