Man, this seems like it could be harder than a lot of Windows Era Extra Stages
Only because the game dosen't have Focus.
IN FACT this is the most hardest extra stage in touhou series

@@davidmadera009 IIRC it really wasn't that. I think it was more to do with the jank of using the emulator along with the input lag, and that autoshoot didn't exist, so your hand got tired mashing 'z' constantly.

***** Because it's exactly the same title as Sariel's 2nd theme, and Evil Eye Sigma's last attack is self-destruction, which if you're not careful, will take one of your lives. :)

Did the artist for this remastering of soew also do the art for Len'en? Because they appear to be drawn in a similar way, and have similar facial expressions.
EpicBob3664 It's the same guy indeed, JynX mugenri, I linked his blog in the description.
Also Len'en demo soon hopefully. Oh and he's the only person doing this stuff I think, not getting any help from other people. By that I mean, he does the art sure, but also the programming.

Fun fact; while the other Extra Stages are canon [Although Touhou 4 is unclear]; LLS' extra stage is EXPLICITLY a What-If and non-canon. Specifically; it's what-if Reimu chased Rika instead of continuing on.
Which means Rika and Evil Eye Sigma are still out there. And EES is considered by many the hardest Extra boss... if only because LLS has no Focus mode so any EES run is automatically a no-focus run. This fan remake DOES have a focus mode...
Raikaria The idea of this extra being a what if does fit with the dialogue but it makes it non canon. I also wouldn't say it's a fact. Could happen when Reimu comes back to her shrine too unless I missed something in the dialogue.
EES may not be able to be focused, but he takes damage from bombs in the original. I beat him by ensuring my last gained life (you gain lifes through points) to be able to be picked up by my death points = 6 bombs for the last 2 lifes = last 3 stages basically just bombed away. That makes EES significantly easier. For a perfect run though, he is a nightmare. I'd now say Pacifist would be easier than LLS, but then again, SoeW bosses don't time out iirc so he'd be undefeatable in Pacifist.

+tam hoa Perhaps. I know there is a MS CD too, but he only sold it during one comiket. He plans to release it online as well according to his interview but that is not his priority so I'm not sure he eventually does it, or at least not before quite some time.
Oh hey cool, I just found out about this remake. I thought the original's version of the part between 6:15 and 6:20 lasted like a full minute or two though, not 5 seconds lol. Plus maybe even there were 2 spellcards with the orbiting explosion thing.
