Ive watched the Loco Amor scene 50 times already and gives me goosebumps every single time. It may be my favourite scene ever. The chemistry is palpable, and the music, ahhhh.

OMG that episode. Just watched the whole series again in preparation for the new season. Wow. And knowing what happens to Lenny Bruce later made it all the more poignant. When I re-watched that episode I was seriously tearing up when he said, "...before I die."

I’ve never watched the Today Show, but y’all need to get better questions!!! These actors handled it so well… Pretty sure they’re both married 😂😂, but you kept asking the same question about them being in love… ask better questions, perhaps about acting techniques or prepping for a scene or studying a historical character… really anything! The world is your oyster ha!!!

Well history gets in the way, because while her character is fictional, his isn't, and a bunch of very specific things have to happen to him.
But can they just write their relationship as a relationship already
I wouldn't recommend it. The real Lenny Bruce dies in 1966 from a drug overdose. So any relationship they have would end in less than 6 years if the 4th season start off in 1960. If they're sticking with real timeframes as before it's gonna be a tragedy.
Not without totally rewriting history. They want to position her as someone in his orbit, but can't push reality too much.
I suspect they'll continue to pass each other at close range, but won't completely connect, and then he'll get into the drugs that eventually killed Lenny Bruce IRL. Which will keep the tension going -- which always plays better on TV than the aftermath of such long-anticipated get-togethers.
I suspect Midge would never want to become entangled with someone who does drugs. I'm rooting for her to get back with Joel. I think they're the real deal, but he needed to grow up. She did, too. And they're doing that.

i am the only one who doesnt like them together at all, lenny is the kind of guy for one night, i guess people love unstable men....
Well...Midge doesn't really know he's THAT unstable...yet. As for audience reaction, Luke kind has that suave, cool devil may care façade with these miss if you blink...hints of genuine affection underneath that patina of indifferent bravado.
I'm honestly heartbroken that the storyline with Benjamin ended so soon. They alluded he was too boring for her. I think Benjamin's character was refreshing because he's so different from everyone else.
The worst season so far. Didn't seem like much of anything really happened with any character. Did they run out of ideas?

This is such a terrible interview. I love the show and the cast, but my GOD
