I have a fairly stock ender 3 v2 neo, grabbed it from Great Hobbies in Ottawa. The only upgrade I've done is a dual z axis. But i really love printing parts for my drones and life.

No. Best starter 3D printer is the Bambu A1. Its about $250, has all the features of the high end printers, and won't force you to tinker and upgrade straight out of the box.
I've owned several Ender 3s, and a Bambu printer. I'd take the Bambu every time. It's like iPhone. It just works.
I HATE Mac lol and that a1 is showing for 500 US which is not budget friendly my offerings are less than half the price. If I started with a bambu I would get a P1S as the A1 is too small but everyone needs different things. Couple hundred bucks for a great machine will let them know if they really want a Bambu maybe later but yes Bambu make amazing machines!
@@TorontoFPV The A1 Mini is $389 CAD if you don't get the AMS Lite with it ($599 if you do) ($299 and $459 USD, respectively. For once, we actually get things a little cheaper up here)
@@taj1994 still too much for a mini printer. There's a reason the ender 3 is the most popular 3d printer. It's cheap and allows you to upgrade and stuff easily. Bambo is nice but too expensive for people that want to get into it casually.
