Can't help keep playing all these old but very good songs; better than today's music.
What a classy outfit . One can imagine couples at home dancing to their radio broadcasts .
Great male vocals from Henry Hall's fine British Orchestra, presented with fantastic sound, my thanks for sharing.
What a superb compilation of fine Henry Hall 30s music!
A deserved tribute to one of the greatest orchestra leaders of the Golden Age. The selection of recordings is awesome and it is enhanced spectacularly with the restoration. Even the picture of Henry Hall looks crispier and classier than ever! Thank you!
I love it. I now listen to this music exclusively. I'm moving back to 1930's!
....a man of superb taste!
Glorious stuff from one of my favorite Brit bands. "After You, Who?" is lovely.
The BBC TV-series from the mid 70s "Pennies from heaven", written by Dennis Potter, is one of the best series ever produced. And all the music in it is from this era (early 30s). And many tunes also played by the BBC Dance Orchestra!
Excellent.
Wonderful...Henry Hall is always a pleasure.
The first disc is on my wants list for Hall songs. The restoration here is outstanding!
I've always been a big fan of British Dance Orchestras of the '20ies and '30'ies :-) Henry Hall and his BBC musicians most certainly are among my favourites ;-) I thank You very much for this fine medley !
Mark
OH! THESE ARE LOVELY! You sure post very Tasteful and Beautiful Record`s! 1932 is probably the weirdest Year in History! So Sophisticated, Romantic, And Dirt Poor, and Despret, Dusty all in one! 1931 and 1933 the about same! BUT What AWESOME Songs were from this ERA! Strangely I Have about as many Records from this ERA, as I do 1920`s Record`s!
I keep coming back to Henry. Love Les Allen. Thank you again and again Prozoot.
....I agree, Tony -- this is such a go-to band!
🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧 Exquisite in all respects!
A great side - and, as always, a fantastic transfer. Thank you!!

Prozoot you’ve done it again. So much wonderful discoveries to listen and enjoy.
You da man!
This is really "Pennies from heaven", if you see what I mean!
A DELIGHT. THANK YOU.
Dagnabit, that arrangement on "When The Morning Rolls Around" (5:25) is almost (I say almost!) as good as Ted Weems'!
Saxie Dowell played this with Hal Kemp's band~
How do you avoid too much digitizing? I've got that problem with my transfers.
How u finded all this delecious jazz?)
Is there any way that these legendary recordings could be added to Spotify?
Fine restoration by Prozoot, but why do the notes above refer to an ‘album’ and Orchard Music:
Song: After You, Who?
Artist: The BBC Dance Orchestra, Henry Hall
Album
All Through the Night - Great British Dance Bands Play Cole Porter, Vol 1
Writers Cole Porter

....95% of all vintage music that you hear on CZcams is owned by Sony Music Entertainment. Orchard Music is an arm of Sony -- they oversee copyright and licensing. You will find their name everywhere. When you see the word "album" it means that particular song was licensed from Sony and used on a CD at some time -- or, is available as a download. The revenues generated from my videos are redirected to the license holders or copyright owners. I don't earn a penny! You'll notice that Sony is now in the business of posting their own songs on YT -- and the audio quality is usually terrible. They don't seem to care.
@@Prozoot thanks for response, yes I have noticed Sony/Orchard (and other names). So CZcams recognise the tune ‘After You, Who?’ as a track in a CD which originates from the EMI World Records LP album. I have that double LP album ‘British Dance Bands Play Cole Porter'.
@@Prozoot my suspicion is that they don't want this unmarketable stuff to sound too good, lest it take even a few fans away from more profitable properties.
@@Prozoot sony is a AWFUL company! they have been the cause of more BEAUTIFUL Recordings removed from YT then any other company! I believe that they even remove recordings that are not theirs! But they are not alone! others have done this AWFUL "Third party copyright infringement" crap as well! I believe that if a Record is 75+ Years old, It ought to be Public Domain!
That’s a surprise! So you do this as a labor of love?
It makes me admire you much more!
