She lost her husband didn’t believe the suicide story the police gave and finds out he was murdered. That snapped her into vengeful sociopath. She should’ve put a more lethal dose of what ever though.

I like that progression of realization: "Huh, so the motorcycle gang was connected. But wait, how did they find out I was-" and then seeing the card, and realizing "Shit, Fuches must have told them" and then thinking "Wait a second, if that card is here, that means Fuches visited Chris's wife..." and then seeing her standing there and it's like "Oh I'm in trouble."
It's so weird that with all the other insane shit going on this episode, it never once occurred to me that Fuches would have already gotten to her. God this show is amazing.
Well he did spread the word around pretty damn quick to all of Barrys victims families. Shit he had already told like 5 or 6 people in a couple episodes.

As a doctor, he could definitely get access to things that would slowly poison you to death, but aren't strong enough to kill you instantly. Why else would Ryan Madison's dad be in a position to pick up Barry near Sharon's house? Perhaps he gave Barry something strong enough to hurt him but not kill him, because he had moral qualms about killing Barry. Hippocratic oath and all that.
Where did you get hundreds he only killed 3 sheepherders in his 2nd tour, including the civilian in korengal. In season one barry was depressed and was offered a job as a hitman for fuches a few months before he came to Los Angles. His kill count could be near a hundred I bet, hundreds in the span of 2-3years is a little over exaggerated.
While she did mess up and gave him to little of a dose I love how fucking efficient she was with it. No monologue, no drawn out method of killing, just Hi try this..., only revealing her motives AFTER it's too late for him. Wish more show villains adopted these methods (ofc with the improvement being to make sure you dump more poison)

i find it kinda funny how at 1:01, he's already realized the high likelihood that he's just been poisoned, but he swallows the bit of stuff that's still in his mouth first before talking.
Although Barry is a very tragic character and the protagonist of our story him being killed honestly would not be a bad ending to the show. I love how the show is really pulling from the previous seasons to bring real consequences to the violence we've seen, to see the damage violence does to the families affected by it and how it not only drives them to make terrible decisions but shows how unprepared and how disconnected people are from the reality of committing violence.

The pandemic downtime/gap years helped Hader and Berg to fine tune and fix up the scripts to have logical movement with the story and maintain that level of consistency that many shows don't really pull off, outside of a few gems. I am shocked it turned into a dark yet satirical spin on John Wick being hunted by a league of assassins, with the 2nd half of season 3.
When all the other chairs were empty I thought that Barry being socially awkward came way too early to the get together before anyone else arrived. But the twist was that there was no get together at all. It was a ploy to kill him.
She's not wrong. In any other show, you'd root for a wife to kill the guy who killed her husband. In this show, you want the killer to stay alive so the show will keep going and being so damn good. I just hope he gets out of this without having to kill her.

I’ve lost all sympathy for him honestly, he’s a complete psycho, but part of the fun of this series is just seeing him run into these outrageous, life or death situations and him finding a way out.
I lost sympathy for him as soon as he started seeking out hit jobs online. The whole following season is about how he didn't want to kill but feels obligated too. But now he's volunteering to kill. He's lost it.

Most serial killers, (sociopaths) are very likeable people. So its really no surprise that you sympathize w them. It just means they played the part even better.
That's what gives so much weight to Barry's kills. He was recruited to be a hitman, to supposedly kill bad people. But even the people he was hired to kill weren't really "bad," they had just done something wrong to someone else (Ryan Madison was a cheater, Ronny was a cheater, the cartel dude seemed like a decent guy too despite being a criminal). And all of this needless killing has only led to Barry being forced to kill even MORE innocent people like Chris, Moss, and his protégé at the monastery to cover his tracks. That's what makes him likeable to us; despite all this killing, we know deep down he doesn't want to. And yet he does it anyway because he has no way out, just like he's always had no way out ever since he got back from the military. Brilliant show

The tension wasn't really in his potential death, as we knew there was 0 possibility of killing Barry in "Barry" before the series finale; the tension is what comes after, like Barry seeing the afterlife.
