Being a dirt bike rider, I love the attention to detail of the sounds, they nailed it, instead of using sounds that don’t match the motorcycle. Makes me smile

They ride up close behind you, slam on the brakes and they'll most likely die (or at least be severely injured) in the collision, same if they ride up in front of you or try passing in traffic: use the vehicle as a battering ram, slamming into them sideways or just drive straight over the top of them. Several tonnes of steel versus leather and fibreglass helmets, can you guess what will win?

Bill is so damn talented. the episodes he directs are always the highlights of the season with these freaking amazing long takes and action choreography.
I can't get over how amazing that shot of him hitting the biker is. The choice to stay inside the car, the doppler effect of the motorcycle engine, it's mindblowingly original and executed flawlessly. bravo.
You can literally see the mailman mentally processing which houses he knows have street-facing cameras so he can make a call whether to just nope out of there and pretend he saw nothing.
There have been murders (both in my country an abroad) where motorcycle assassin puled up next to a car and successfully killed the people inside . It isn't really suicide if they know what they're doing.
That was one of the best chase-scenes I've ever seen. That mirror showing the chasers while also showing whats going on in front, the long shots, the angles, the absurdity. Though the "Handoff" isnt included in this video haha
Here's a cool/funny detail here: so at 0:49 there's a large truck approaching in the opposite traffic - when you then focus on the car's front mirror when Barry starts hightailing it from the bikers, you can see the biker follows his swerving turn in absolute sync by how he remains in almost same point in the said mirror, only for him to get wrecked out of sight by the large truck you could see approaching just before Barry turned onto the second road!
Watch it. It's really good. My favorite episode is Ronny and Lily from season 2. That episode was nominated for an Emmy but sadly did not win when it clearly should've had.
You know what funny about this you normally would expect motorcyclist who are hitmen, to just remember the target face and just go for the kill, but you get caught off guard by these guys stopping at the target taking out a phone and checking to see if this is the guy, before arguing if they are sure before agreeing to kill him. The way Barry just look confused at these guys, before hearing them out loudly say who they are and who sent them was priceless.
I'd love to see Bill do a full on barry movie. I don't know how many seasons he plans on doing it, 5, 6. But, I think it'd be really cool if he did like, instead of a series finale if he wrote a big epic funny dramatic film to be released in theaters. Bill is a great writer, and barry is quite a unique character, the only other show that's kind of similar in tone is killing eve, and I also think killing eve should have a theatrically released film as well.
I wonder if there is a nod to Pulp Fiction in this scene. The way Barry's singing in his car just before shit is about to go down is very reminiscent of how Butch is doing the same thing before he encounters Marsellus.
I know it's a dark comedy but this was still one of the sillier scenes. The first three had to look closely at him and talk to each other to verify he is the target. But this other guy just sees the car coming his way, is already in position immediately after Barry makes the turn and is already shooting. It's suppose to be ludicrous but most of the series still had good logistics.
This was so awesome barry traveling on the freeway literally is 20 ft from where I work at :) and the female chick on the bike was Jolene from nitro circus :)
Btw. Dirt bikes are not very fast. They usually can go about 60-80 mph. They're not meant for speed but they have crazy torque. I only say this cause I find jt funny that Barry didn't just drive away. He could have easily gotten away..but then again if the motorcyclist knew shortcuts they'd be able to catch up to him
