This is good for the market women because they don’t have to pay union fee and aso egbe which allows them to sell at reasonable price.

Sister Morayo you're a Yoruba and i believe you came from an important background so i don't expect you not to know that Kings actually have the right to do this. Every markets are under the kings, we have chiefs that are called PARAKOYI, they are the chiefs overseeing the market and the iyalojas and babalojas are the intermediary between them and the marketers.
You should know that a king 👑 will not just wake up in his palace and make the decision without due process

I'm highly disappointed in these ladies. They are academically sound but traditionally illiterates. So at this age you don't know that the markets are under the king. There is iyaloja that is the head of market women and the king has his own council of chiefs that he deliberates with before taking decisions. I'm even surprised that you could not go to the grassroots and find out about the relationship between Yoruba kings and his people. What do you think they do in the palace. Oh maybe you don't even know that people bring matters and complaints to the palace and the king steps in immediately. Please don't talk about or equate Yoruba kings with ordinary citizens who need permission of government or constitution to rule their domains. Our kings are royal fathers that should be respected. Please mind the way you address them and don't disrespect them by queering their actions openly as if they are on the same level with you. Consult your grandparents before you raise any topic that has to do with our royal fathers. Thank you.
