I don't really care for a lot of the new trends. I have been watching ASMR videos for 10 years, and simple whisper videos are what I like. Your close up jewelry videos and the ones where you point out things in drawings or paintings are my favorite. Also the video you did with the angel dolls is one of my favorites as well! ♥️

Honestly the new stuff is odd. Old school asmr is actually relaxing. I was 18 when you started your channel, I’m 28 now. I still watch all your old videos because those are the best type of asmr videos. You just talking to us about anything (ramble) is great, your plant videos, show and tell videos, cooking videos with a voiceover, mukbang videos (the way you do them, soft and gentle) is awesome.
You’re soft spoken and whisper voice got me through many nights when my daughter was born (9 years ago) and your old whisper video/storytelling/rambling/reading stories are my favorite to this day! You are one of the only ASMRtists I still watch regularly.

I would love to see a magazine flipping video with whispering/soft speaking about the magazine. I especially love the wedding magazine one! If you could recreate that, that would be awesome. But any magazine would be great 😊
You know, I have had many people mention the wedding magazine video in particular over the past years ever since I made hat one. Maybe I can see if I can find another wedding magazine and try and make an updated version ^_^

You’re brave asking the GP to comment what they want you to do. LoL There’s lots of content out there these days that’s really… out there. You are probably the first ASMR artist I subscribed to over a decade ago! When I suggest ASMR to people, you are one of the first artists I recommend. Probably my favorite is when you are in your Grandma’s house talking about life and grinding spices. And the chalkboard videos! Love youuu!! 🤗

Don't do the new trends!! Stick to what you have done in the past. You were probably one of the first asmrists that I followed like 8 years ago and you are still my favorite. Seeing you back online has been amazing! I loved your soft spoken videos where you did things like playing with cards, towel folding, cooking, crafty things. I'd love to see those types of things again! Even making and playing with your plants and such. And updated jewelry video would be amazing!

My favorite videos are ones where the person is just rambling about something they find interesting. Of yours, I loved when you told us a little story - introducing kiki, explaining your zendangles, telling us about Dutch food while you try it, showing us what you brought back from the Netherlands, telling us about the interaction with the subway employee, a how to of how to create a winter wonderland box of decorations, you once flipped a bridal magazine and talked about what you liked and didn’t like, etc. Not new, but old school, casual chats are still my fave :)
I remember your notebook of request days! My favorite video of yours is the one where you’re describing your grandmother’s handmade scarves. Soft spoken, not too many sounds, just your calm voice. Thank you for all that you do!

I prefer the old school ASMR videos. It’s less about showy and high production for me and more about the care put into the video. Delicate finger tracing, organizing, light touch. Some of my fave videos of yours were the dream catcher, tracing in a magazine, brushing cardboard. Actually one of my favorites was when you inspected and traced a Snoopy cardboard box.

Heyo. Your inaudible whispers, normal whispers and super soft spoken videos are second to none. Honestly you could be listing items in your garbage and I wouldn’t care because I love your delivery. But I think those work well with book readings, stories and role plays. Maybe like a library role play? Flipping through books and whispering / softly speaking. Much love.

You were the one who introduced me to ASMR years ago so (like a lot of people commenting) I'm old school: Cooking videos, crafting videos, rambling sincere/unintentional (un-acted, not a roleplay although I always loved your RP's also) and anything where you are fiddling with a bunch of different little mundane things and showing us something is amazing. BUT: Ultimately, whatever is most fun for you and keeps you interested and motivated to produce more content is the thing I support the most!
I am so, so, so glad to see most other comments are in line with what I prefer as well! I honestly do not like a lot of the newer and trendy asmr videos. I love soft spoken best, but your whisper videos are the only ones I really like. Your videos are organic and very personable, and I just love you! You were the very first asmrtist I found back 10 years ago, and you are still my favorite. The new styles, techniques and role playing makes it so difficult to find a suitable ASMR artist. Soft, slow whispers, rambles, or the occasional projects are the “it” factor for me. Your Glass collection separation project, plant & botanical projects, or even small soft project builds or your art work with soft rambles are just the BEST. I am so excited to see any new artistic conduct you produce & create. The “new” trends and fads……are just fads. No need for you to fix anything with your content when it is NOT broken. :).

I really like videos where you whisper and are using your hands to show us things. For example your videos showing us your art, your spices, your friends makeup. The slow, gentle hand movements are very tingly/relaxing!

My favorite video of all time is one of the ones where you role play and comfort us for panic, anxiety, insomnia, etc. it’s calmed me down so many times and I always come back to it. Other than that, I love hair and makeup videos and I love whispering. But you do you, and I’m here for it! xx
Welcome back Ilse! A bit late to the return party here, but I am so happy to see you back. You are the first ASMRtist I've ever watched, 10 years ago. I remember it like it was yesterday. I loved your old videos, but the ones where you were tracing, gently touching things such as the plant book collection, jewellery, the shirts and scarves role play, or just plain ol' whispering and camera brushing were my faves. Nowadays ASMR videos can look like movies sometimes, but that to me makes it lose immersion and authenticity, and that takes away my tingles. I prefer a genuine, natural and simple video, without special effects, a video that is meant to relax. If I want an extraordinary quality video production I can go to the cinema.
I was so happy when I saw that you returned and had new videos. I really missed you and seeing you again was like reuniting with a friend. Also, I love your new hairstyle, it really suits you. I'm not sure about current trends in ASMR because I mostly love your videos and I prefer this type of ASMR that you have been doing for years. I love your videos, my favourites are: whispering, tapping, close up videos like the ones with your collections whether it is jewelry or aquarium related, tea videos, etc. I just love watching your videos because no matter what you are doing in them, you have a very soothing and calming effect and I can feel myself relaxing and feeling better. I have watched your videos for many, many years and I always come back to certain videos (like your old make up videos that you filmed in your grandma's hallway). But.... As many have already said your old ASMR videos are some of the best. Whispered jewellery talk through, and you once had a gift at Christmas that came in a Snoopy box (?) loved that one. Personally I find role play videos so awkward to watch and don’t enjoy them, people also seem to love A LOT of mouth sounds, another I can’t really get onboard with - fussy in know!! 😂😂
I agree old school is best! Another ear cleaning video would be awesome. I always find myself going back to the one with just audio. Trigger words from that video "let me check", "let me...", "little", "clean"...you could put those words in a different role play. I love that you don't repeat the words, you naturally space them throughout the video. Hair looks great, you are gorgeous!!!
When it comes to asmr I’m a really cheap date haha the simpler the better! I tend to come back to the classic and older stuff as well so close up ear to ear whispering will always be a favourite. I especially loved all of your ear cleaning/ear doctor roleplays and any of your story time videos! Ps- your hair looks amazing!!
ASMR is somewhat like music. At the end of the day it's all vibrations that hit everyone's brain/senses differently. You are a OG ASMartist and I used to watch you all the back in 2012. Your voice has always been amazing at giving tingles and I'm stoked you're back on youtube making videos again. I just hope you make videos that you want to make because you've always been amazing in the ASMR space. :)

I find that they are more effortless and authentic. Newer ASMR seems too deliberate and fake. I love your old eating videos the most! They are so soothing.
I don't care about trends. I watch my asmr triggers from different asmrtists (older and new). My favorite videos from your channel are for example the pencil scratching, the tracing videos, the scratching objects videos and puzzle and sand videos 😊 with whispering or without.. I like both ways 😁 Your new look is great!

I really like the old school videos where you are doing some simple task on a computer screen, like making a list, showing us the logos, giving a tour of your website. Low quality videos that have white noise in the background and you’re just explaining/completing a simple task
I loved when you did the wooden blocks and wooden chess pieces. Those are my requests. As far as ASMR trends…..just keep being yourself. You’ll find your place soon enough.
Some video titles I really like: (maybe you could search for them and gain soms inspiration!!): - repeating my intro - repeating: "may i touch you?" - follow my instructions - repeating songs from when I was young - word search puzzles - inaudible whispers - and just any (upclose) mouth sounds really Hope this helps❤

Maybe it’s harder to know this as a creator than as a viewer, but each ASMRtist that I watch has something special that I watch them for. For you, my opinion is a lot of it is your voice and how gentle you are. I would keep making content you want to make because that’s why we enjoy YOUR ASMR videos ❤️

I am new to the ASMR community. I listen to Gentle Whispering and Whispers Red. They still do the things you talk about, scalp massage etc. I especially like videos about tea, tea ceremony , getting ready, makeup tutorials and even whispering more than sound triggers though they can be lovely. I clicked on your channel because of the name and the first video I saw was of you getting ready for the day. I was struck by the fact of how real you were and unique. I also appreciated that the products you used in that video were actually accessible to anyone, no large bank account needed. Also enjoyed an older video you did on vegan snacks. I think you should make videos on what interests you, you have good instincts…if something is considered trending or “popular “ I am usually uninterested. I loved your long hair, but your new haircut is cool and looks great! Great earrings and lipstick 💄💙

The best best best videos for me are the slow and silence whispering😍 I don’t know if that’s making sense, but there are some kinds of whispers- ‘yelling’ and ‘silence’ so I really love the slow and quiet whispering. It goes really well with hand movements and clicks sounds. And as I read here, the style of videos from 2013-2014 was really the best (I feel like most of the contents from this time were as I wrote as a suggestion for the upcoming videos 😌). Asmr eating videos don’t usually appeal to me because the amount of food and speed at which most creators eat. Yours are amazing. That along with your whispers put you at the top of the list- keep doing what you’re doing!
I always enjoy your videos where you usually have a few things you find neat or interesting that you do your video around.. such as a bag of tea or a foreign snack or a gift. Also think your videos are the best quality. Looking forward to watching more

You’re brave asking the GP to comment what they want you to do. LoL There’s lots of content out there these days that’s really… out there. You are probably the first ASMR artist I subscribed to over a decade ago! When I suggest ASMR to people, you are one of the first artists I recommend. Probably my favorite is when you are in your Grandma’s house talking about life and grinding spices. And the chalkboard videos! Love youuu!! 🤗

Don't do the new trends!! Stick to what you have done in the past. You were probably one of the first asmrists that I followed like 8 years ago and you are still my favorite. Seeing you back online has been amazing! I loved your soft spoken videos where you did things like playing with cards, towel folding, cooking, crafty things. I'd love to see those types of things again! Even making and playing with your plants and such. And updated jewelry video would be amazing!

My favorite videos are ones where the person is just rambling about something they find interesting. Of yours, I loved when you told us a little story - introducing kiki, explaining your zendangles, telling us about Dutch food while you try it, showing us what you brought back from the Netherlands, telling us about the interaction with the subway employee, a how to of how to create a winter wonderland box of decorations, you once flipped a bridal magazine and talked about what you liked and didn’t like, etc. Not new, but old school, casual chats are still my fave :)

I prefer the old school ASMR videos. It’s less about showy and high production for me and more about the care put into the video. Delicate finger tracing, organizing, light touch. Some of my fave videos of yours were the dream catcher, tracing in a magazine, brushing cardboard. Actually one of my favorites was when you inspected and traced a Snoopy cardboard box.

I personally prefer lower quality videos with an ‘old school’ feel to them. It’s what I make and it’s what I enjoy. I watch a lot of older videos, particularly your older videos and Maria’s older videos. There’s just a certain quality and charm to them that I can’t explain! 😊 I really enjoyed your brush stroking videos where you’re stroking the brush along your arm, I would love another video like that with a soft whisper! 🥰

But I think those work well with book readings, stories and role plays. Maybe like a library role play? Flipping through books and whispering / softly speaking. Much love.

You were the one who introduced me to ASMR years ago so (like a lot of people commenting) I'm old school: Cooking videos, crafting videos, rambling sincere/unintentional (un-acted, not a roleplay although I always loved your RP's also) and anything where you are fiddling with a bunch of different little mundane things and showing us something is amazing. BUT: Ultimately, whatever is most fun for you and keeps you interested and motivated to produce more content is the thing I support the most!
I am so, so, so glad to see most other comments are in line with what I prefer as well! I honestly do not like a lot of the newer and trendy asmr videos. I love soft spoken best, but your whisper videos are the only ones I really like. Your videos are organic and very personable, and I just love you! You were the very first asmrtist I found back 10 years ago, and you are still my favorite. Whenever I'm struggling or can't sleep or relax, I put on some of your videos and I either pass out or feel so much calmer and grounded. I'm so glad you're back! I love your hair! The new styles, techniques and role playing makes it so difficult to find a suitable ASMR artist. Soft, slow whispers, rambles, or the occasional projects are the “it” factor for me. Your Glass collection separation project, plant & botanical projects, or even small soft project builds or your art work with soft rambles are just the BEST. I am so excited to see any new artistic conduct you produce & create. The “new” trends and fads……are just fads. No need for you to fix anything with your content when it is NOT broken. :).

I really like videos where you whisper and are using your hands to show us things. For example your videos showing us your art, your spices, your friends makeup. The slow, gentle hand movements are very tingly/relaxing!

Haircut looks amazing! I love your older videos with you making a sandwich or chopping to prepare a meal. I tend to enjoy less talking and just hearing the natural sounds as you do something. The first video I remember was you sitting with small bowls of soapy water, washing your hands! Just glad to have you back!

My favorite video of all time is one of the ones where you role play and comfort us for panic, anxiety, insomnia, etc. it’s calmed me down so many times and I always come back to it.

Welcome back Ilse! A bit late to the return party here, but I am so happy to see you back. You are the first ASMRtist I've ever watched, 10 years ago. I remember it like it was yesterday. I loved your old videos, but the ones where you were tracing, gently touching things such as the plant book collection, jewellery, the shirts and scarves role play, or just plain ol' whispering and camera brushing were my faves.
Nowadays ASMR videos can look like movies sometimes, but that to me makes it lose immersion and authenticity, and that takes away my tingles. I prefer a genuine, natural and simple video, without special effects, a video that is meant to relax.
If I want an extraordinary quality video production I can go to the cinema.
I was so happy when I saw that you returned and had new videos. I really missed you and seeing you again was like reuniting with a friend. Also, I love your new hairstyle, it really suits you. I'm not sure about current trends in ASMR because I mostly love your videos and I prefer this type of ASMR that you have been doing for years. I love your videos, my favourites are: whispering, tapping, close up videos like the ones with your collections whether it is jewelry or aquarium related, tea videos, etc. I just love watching your videos because no matter what you are doing in them, you have a very soothing and calming effect and I can feel myself relaxing and feeling better. I have watched your videos for many, many years and I always come back to certain videos (like your old make up videos that you filmed in your grandma's hallway). But.... What I have always LOVED were your mouth close ups, simply talking about anything in your life. I cannot explain why, they just trigger me and nobody else does these videos :)

As many have already said your old ASMR videos are some of the best. Whispered jewellery talk through, and you once had a gift at Christmas that came in a Snoopy box (?) loved that one. Personally I find role play videos so awkward to watch and don’t enjoy them, people also seem to love A LOT of mouth sounds, another I can’t really get onboard with - fussy in know!! 😂😂

I agree old school is best! Another ear cleaning video would be awesome. I always find myself going back to the one with just audio. Trigger words from that video "let me check", "let me...", "little", "clean"...you could put those words in a different role play. I love that you don't repeat the words, you naturally space them throughout the video. Hair looks great, you are gorgeous!!!
When it comes to asmr I’m a really cheap date haha the simpler the better! I tend to come back to the classic and older stuff as well so close up ear to ear whispering will always be a favourite. I especially loved all of your ear cleaning/ear doctor roleplays and any of your story time videos! Ps- your hair looks amazing!!

ASMR is somewhat like music. At the end of the day it's all vibrations that hit everyone's brain/senses differently. You are a OG ASMartist and I used to watch you all the back in 2012. Your voice has always been amazing at giving tingles and I'm stoked you're back on youtube making videos again. I just hope you make videos that you want to make because you've always been amazing in the ASMR space. :)

I don't care about trends. I watch my asmr triggers from different asmrtists (older and new). My favorite videos from your channel are for example the pencil scratching, the tracing videos, the scratching objects videos and puzzle and sand videos 😊 with whispering or without.. I really like the old school videos where you are doing some simple task on a computer screen, like making a list, showing us the logos, giving a tour of your website. Low quality videos that have white noise in the background and you’re just explaining/completing a simple task
I loved when you did the wooden blocks and wooden chess pieces. Those are my requests. As far as ASMR trends…..just keep being yourself. You’ll find your place soon enough.

Maybe it’s harder to know this as a creator than as a viewer, but each ASMRtist that I watch has something special that I watch them for. I am new to the ASMR community. I listen to Gentle Whispering and Whispers Red. They still do the things you talk about, scalp massage etc. I especially like videos about tea, tea ceremony , getting ready, makeup tutorials and even whispering more than sound triggers though they can be lovely. I clicked on your channel because of the name and the first video I saw was of you getting ready for the day. I was struck by the fact of how real you were and unique. I also appreciated that the products you used in that video were actually accessible to anyone, no large bank account needed. Also enjoyed an older video you did on vegan snacks. I think you should make videos on what interests you, you have good instincts…if something is considered trending or “popular “ I am usually uninterested. I loved your long hair, but your new haircut is cool and looks great! Great earrings and lipstick 💄💙

Heyy Ilse! The best best best videos for me are the slow and silence whispering😍 I don’t know if that’s making sense, but there are some kinds of whispers- ‘yelling’ and ‘silence’ so I really love the slow and quiet whispering. It goes really well with hand movements and clicks sounds. And as I read here, the style of videos from 2013-2014 was really the best (I feel like most of the contents from this time were as I wrote as a suggestion for the upcoming videos 😌). Asmr eating videos don’t usually appeal to me because the amount of food and speed at which most creators eat. Yours are amazing. That along with your whispers put you at the top of the list- keep doing what you’re doing!
I always enjoy your videos where you usually have a few things you find neat or interesting that you do your video around.. such as a bag of tea or a foreign snack or a gift. Also think your videos are the best quality. Looking forward to watching more
