I am a 53 yo complete death metal head but I absolutely love Ren across all of his genres. His mastery of words, amazing musical talent, and ability to put into words the human struggle is like no other. He is a true artist who will truely leave a positive impact on this world in ways most singers dont.

As an old skool Beastie Boys fan, I approve of this. How this kid is not massive is beyond me. Like the Beasties, he can turn his hand to many genres and still sound fresh. Plus his songs about mental health have helped me realise a few things about myself.
Couldn't of said much better, been on a ren kick these last two weeks. And i really learned about myself and about that self perceived critic inside my voice. Definitely am learning to relax and just live life, really grown to respects his talents more so his ability to connect with me and teach me some things i never really put together even though they were simple things i probably should of. My brain just didn't wanna see or try and connect with. When you live with depression most of your life it almost becomes a solacing voice you get use too, because it does often lead/guide you to better outcomes. But constantly listening to it, leaves you feeling simply outdone, however, i'm feel just speaking to the choired now, have a great day and an amazing rest all of you, cha all of done great things, even if some part of you doesn't wanna see it!

I don't think a day passes that I fail to introduce @ren to someone here in Los Angeles. This is going to bring that to another level, as I am of this Bestie Boys age. Agree with the LP commenter below. I always lead with Ren just might be to smart to hit the masses in the US market. I don't really mean that, and although it's like I'm taking credit just for stumbling across him a few years ago, I look forward to the near future where he's selling out a US tour. Much deserved.

Ren , I’m in my 50s now and haven’t been so excited about music since buying my first vinyl record in my teens. I have listened to and loved so many genres over the years from Bob, Beastie Boys and Black Sabbath, Eric B and Rakeem to Xxx, from Violent Femmes to Violons Barbares and everything in between, but you are orbiting them all, you are a legend and I am so thankful I found your music (thanks Billy Bragg for the recommendation)

Just wanted to say I discovered you a few weeks ago and you have easily become my favorite artist. One of the most well spoken, diverse artists I've come across in my whole music repertoire. You are beyond introspective and very in touch with the reality of life and the turmoil it can bring. A true word smith. You can articulate emotions into words so well that it resonated with me instantaneously. Listening to you was like being able to look my own thoughts in a mirror. But more refined and innovated. I can tell you are your biggest critique. The passion and effort you put into your craft is a breath of fresh air. Thanks Ren for being you.
This is an insanely good mix of old and new. Can definitely feel the vibe of Beastie Boys influence when this song pops off. I miss the fun of old school rap - Just something about it hits harder than a lot of the stuff I've heard these days. Excellent work, Ren!
