The stupid thing about the KAR being one shot is that it has MORE range than the XRK Stalker(WHICH IS A SNIPER)

This Kar has to be the most nerfed thing in history. Never has something been more broken. It should have to be a 4 shot headshot kill or a 20 meter 1 shot range or like 1900 ADS

When I saw the news of a kar nerf in a Facebook post I suggested bringing up the other bolt action marksman and the mw2 lower cal snipers (not the .50 cals) to diversify the sniper meta. I mean it wouldn't be hard to make some damage tweaks to a few weapons like the kar.

The problem is, if they buff every other gun, then the TTK will be very short, making all the changes over time that we’ve had (like raised health) almost redundant. Everyone would be getting killed in 0.3 seconds, and then everyone will complain about that. “I can’t react to being shot” “I get shot in the back and die before I can even turn” and so on.
Personally I like the Kar exactly how it is, but that being said, every man and his dog is using it, and it doesn’t require much skill to get players downed/killed.
We should WANT skill gaps, not every bot using a sniper from a roof top, fifth-partying you after you’ve already fought 4 other teams ffs😂

I come from a time when FPS/shooter games were WAY simpler. Variety is fantastic, and having a ton of firearms to chose from is a wet dream, HOWEVER when you "nerf" shit into the ground or guns become obsolete, what is the point of having X-amount of them in game as COD has the last few installments? Just make ALL guns powerful and viable, then people can chose based on favorite firearm, class of firearm, etc. Just my two cents from an old gamer.

Wild idea marksman rifle 2 shot anywhere and snipers 1 shot to the head. Fix the damn servers and make some more guns viable. Shit gets stale when there is only 3 or 4 "meta" guns being used.
I dont remember the Kar98 being this dominant in OG Rebirth Island. Yes, it was good, but I was never getting sniped from like 4 different teams at the same time. I'm not asking to nerf it into the ground. I'm just tired of everybody running the Kar now. I'm fine with 1 shot snipers (including the Kar), and I think they should make the mw2 snipers 1 shot, maybe just with ranges. But it's ridiculous that the XRK Stalker (an actual sniper) has less 1 shot range than the Kar98 (a marksman rifle) by about 10 meters

I don’t know if anyone else has run into it, but I haven’t been able to properly shoot my handguns since season 4 started. It forces me to have to land clean on a chest or a gun every time because I can’t shoot my starter pistol as fast/normally as everyone else. Really annoying.
Turn off auto tac sprint. It’s probably interrupting the shooting

Everyone begging for the Kar to come back, Sledgehammer brings it back but not even at the same level as warzone 1. “NERF THE KAR”. You can never please the cod community I swear. They don’t even need to nerf the Kar imho. Just buff ARs to be able to compete with it. Maybe nerf aim assist, but it’s unfortunate that sniping has been at the bottom of the barrel when it’s the weapon that takes the most skill to use. If people are complaining about the Kar in its state rn (worse than warzone 1 btw), I doubt seeing sniping going back to the good old days.

Yeah, the kar98k isn't that overpowered. The aim assist on is quite a bit more than it should have. Its velocity is fine. Maybe nerf the hip fire and make the longer range scopes come with more ads time than currently.
The main thing they need to do is give glint to all optics on a gun that has 1 shot down potential. It's the most exploited thing with the snipers currently. They also need to fix the glint in general as it is too easy to hide even without quickscoping.
I preferred old-school verdansk snipers before they made all the nerfs. It isn't that hard to mitigate the risk of being sniped when on the move. They keep trying to increase the skill required for sniping while making all other aspects of gunplay much easier, that's not balancing, that's catering to a certain playstyle.
So done with this game. I hadn’t played in weeks - jump back in to test the Kar. Was having some fun with the gun to now see it getting nerfed. The constant nerfing of good guns is just exhausting. Unless things are broken, just leave the damn guns alone. I am done.
It’s season 4, I wish they’d just make the mw2 guns good. Like genuinely what was the point of bringing them into mw3 just to make em suck butt

The armor plate cancel, to immediately getting killed while rezzing, after the nice window play? Brutal.
They really should stop nerving guns and start puffing some other guns to compete with the Kar.
What they should do is buff every other weapon. The snipers, spr variants and crossbow should all one shot. The problem they have is there more worried about people paying for blueprints over making the game fun.
They’ve completely killed sniping since the beginning of wz2. The kar is nowhere near as good as it was in wz1 but we have these people crying and screaming for a nerf. Would’ve been interesting to see how their opinions might have differed going to wz2 from wz1

The fact that they made the kar 1 shot up to 80 some meters, but not buff the spr 208 to be 1 shot when cleary the gun itself did more damage than the kar back in 2019, the spr had ammo conversions compared to the kar that increased range and damage, mw2 really screwed over the sniping community when it came to marksman rifles and snipers, slow clunky half the guns dont one shot even tho majority are bolt action
And yet everyone complains when they finally bring the kar back because half the players got used to not being sniped. It’s sad. I quit Warzone when 1 shot snipers stopped being a thing. I always run smg/sniper and have no problems close or long range gun fights. It’s just too many people complain that it’s too easy to 1 shot when it actually takes skill. Everyone has something to complain about and the spr was the shit in wz1 but I think too many people who can’t snipe have ruined that aspect of the game by the constant complaints for nerfing 1 shot snipers

whats crazy is I can pick up a ground loot kar and smash.
Watching your BP50 gameplay, one recommendation I would make is changing the Casus Brake to Sakin Tread-40. It will reduce recoil control and vertical recoil further while also significantly reducing horizontal recoil.
I would also recommend equipping the xten tx-12 hand stop. It will further its capability in tac stance.

I was testing some off meta weapons this weekend and had a lot of fun with the 556 Icarus (Sonic Supressor + Coldforge Barrel + 100 round + High Velocity + Microtherm Optic) after the first 10-15 bullets it has little to no recoil
I'll have to try it out, I was using it towards the end of WZ 2 and I loved it a lot

Last op marksman rifle we got, was the interceptor. We have two other bolt actions that can't even one shot to the chest in regular mp. Surely there is no bias for the kar, right?.
@@conor-_C in comparison to everything in wz1 they have alot more visual and actual recoil. If i had a Cooper carbine i would be able to beam everyone regardless of what weapon they used from mw2/mw3.

Yes that would be awesome, infinite 1 shot range and high bullet velocity. They should look towards wz1 for inspiration. Most of the guns in that game had high bullet velocities. You would never see a sniper under 1000 m/s BV

We all know the COD cycle and weapon nerf/buffs aren’t any different. Luckily I got obsidian for it. I hate to admit it but the kar98k clutched up some Solo dubs and made unlocking Royal Helix Camo soo much easier than I thought lol

I haven't played in almost 3 weeks due to work, and i read on twitter all the talk about snipers......then i dropped in. Holy cows. 89% of the lobby is locked down on a high building with a Kar.

If they nerf the velocity on kar then its no better than anything else, if they make one shot range worse (up to 30-40 meters) then Mors is gonna be meta again, only thing they can nerf to make it some what balanced is to nerf aim assist, either by reducing it or removing it, or nerf the mobility values (ads, sprint to fire, etc)
Shit if I can get drill charges on that rgl, shits gonna be broken
Kar 98 nerf should be lower velocity by 250- 300 ms
One shot range up to 38-ms
Damage to body reduced by 50
Upper neck increase by 20
Decrease foot damage by 35
No More aim assist
Keep ads snappy, maybe nerf it by 50-75 or even 100ms so you're forced to use an ads attachment to make it snapper like before
I really hope they don't make the KAR a two-headshot down. Reducing the one-shot range and the chest damage, along with bringing the aim-assist to match those of other snipers would make it just right:)
I have a problem where I can’t use certain guns with certain attachments cause when I go into the game with the gun, it takes two of my attachments off for some strange reason so do I have to talk to them about this and does anyone else has this problem as well ?

For the Kar nerf that's about as close to an official acknowledgment that we'll get that they purposely release OP guns to sell store bundles and then nerf it later. I mean everyone has known that for awhile but it's amusing to see them say they have a target date for just changing a few numbers around in the code.
Well it’s not just changing numbers, they’re likely experimenting with different changes in the backend and have to make sure they are good changes

I hope they don't change the kar98k too much because that gun is really the only reason I am still playing cod. I'm sure I'm not the only one who came back just because of the Kar coming back either.
Here’s a unique thought: just make all weapons viable instead of playing rotation on what gun works best…. Then again , can’t expect much from a company that still runs 12 tick servers on a AAA title game that makes its bread and butter from Warzone and MP.

The problem with the kar is when dudes shoot and MISS and still get the down.
If they want something that makes it fair they should add a extra relode speed to make it slower and cause the fire rate to drop which slows down the time to kill entirely (giving the person you are shooting at time to react). Which is most peoples problem.
I hope they only nerf the RAA on this gun and not the bullet velocity, bullet drop or the effectiv damage range.
I fear they're gonna just destroy the kar again so I'll be just spamming it until the next update so I can still enjoy it while I can

Most important fix, they are fuckin useless at listening to people. Console lobbies instead of being forced to play with hacking pc players, fix the servers so you can build a team that talks without dropping in hoping they speak, buff more guns, and make it a variety of them; ARs, snipers, pistols etc
All they need to do is slow the KAR bolt recharger or make it with a single mag instead of 5

I honesty love how the kar is. The only thing i think actually needs fixed is the aim assist start there i also feel like the ads is faster than before i think the 1 shot range is pretty good how it is. We just need sniper buffs. The kar isnt broken it just outshines others simply because its actually good lol.

Snipers and shotguns should never be meta. They should be powerful options for those who are skilled and for specific situations. If everyone can use it and if snipers can be used at all situations then that must be changed.
I’ kinda in complicated relationship with Kar98, I like It’s fun, but and hate when i try to play rifle I’m getting sniped from everywhere! So glad they will nerf it, but I hope they don’t stomp it to the ground, just nerf it little bit so ARs can be competetive again!
I am so excited to play Warzone again finally because of the DG pre-nerf and now the Kar98k. If they need it too bad, I’ll probably stop playing again. Which sucks because CoD is my favourite game when it’s fun. I’ve missed my favourite game and I’m so glad it’s back.
in multiplayer its completely broken. cant go one game without sb using it but in warzone its at a good point not having unlimited 1 hit kill range is a pretty good nerf i think they should just tone down the aim assist a bit and it should be good

The kar98k is a NOOB gun 🔫
I feel like the best course of action for the Kar98k is WZ is if you want really good bullet velocity those attachments should make the gun fairly slow and the one hit range should be something like 55/65 meters instead of the 80 or 90 it can get up to rn.
Just buff some AR's so they can compete against the Kar!?

Anytime they put a 1 shot sniper in the game with fast ADS its gonna break the game. I enjoy sniping but i always felt there shouldn't be 1 shot snipers in a BR. Nothing more frustrating than looting up and getting your loadout only to be sniped from a random window with 1 bullet 😂

All I can think of is better mobility but then again, that longbow and mors rifle are other similar options.
people complaining that you can only play with 3 guns and “why don’t they just make all the guns good” and honestly they do it in purpose to get the most out of the game, they give every gun a chance to be meta with all these nerfs we have rotational metas so by the time the next cod comes out you would have used almost every gun in the game, keeping the game fresh.
It be nice if they buff some other marksman rifles like the SPR give the kar some competition instead of just nerfing it into the ground. at least for warzone

You would think that they wouldn’t even worry about weapon nerves especially to good weapons that you get used to using while they have all these other issues that they can’t fix in their game. Just when you start to get good with a gun, they Nerf it this vicious cycle is so tiring, they just work on the rest of the game that’s broken
Here's how you fix the kar. Make it one shot up to 48 meters. Makes this a high skill close range sniper. Of you want to extend the range, you have to use attachments that heavily affect ADS. BOOM! Fixed! Now sweaty high skilled players will use it. But you won't get one shotted by a time camping a roof from 90 meters away LOL.

Thank god bro. I love the KAR98 as much as the next person. But Jesus they did not need to make it that broken like who tf play tested that and said “yeah that’s pretty balanced” 😂😂
It'd be cool if they added some type of perk to counter balance the kar and other snipes for players who want that instead of nerfing a gun into the ground that alot of players have been wanting for a while now. Also we've had toxic/broken shotguns for how long now..?
The Kar doesn't need a nerf. What needs a nerf is the aim assist and the RAA to the kar. That would make the majority of the controller players actually have to try and aim instead of the game aiming for you. We need this as a 1shot but we don't need the game bringing the cross hair into the hit box for us and then acting like we're goats at sniping, cause let's be honest here anyone on controller with with AA and thinking you're actually the reason of hitting your shots is messed up. Nurf AA on the amd keep it a 1shot.
No it needs a nerf, it dominates every category and it’s not even a sniper. There’s no reason to use any other sniper right now. They need to keep it a marksman rifle and Cut the range in half, or make it a sniper and make it slower.
Honestly was hyped when the Kar came back but not being able to find a party has caused me to hardly play this season and likely wont until the fix it 😒!!!
They should buff things up instead of nerfing. This is why og mw2 was so fun. Everything was OP so nothing was. Stuff thats fun always gets nerfed immediately. Im disabled. I cant move around like a cracked bunny rabbit with trampolines for shoes. Make jumping not a core combat mechanic then. Cant tell you how many times somebody just mashing jump and shooting wins fights against me. I can snipe. That is what im best at and im not great. But they keep nerfing my way to have fun.
I don’t get the Kar Nerf. Although I know it’s only gonna be a distance thing in Warzone and Damage thing in multiplayer
I love having one dominant weapon in this game. I say they should leave it how it is.
As long as cod has rebirth island and the KAR98K they have a gigantic following.
