- The APC caucus in the House of Representatives has endorsed Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the 2023 presidential election.
The House Leader, Alhassan Doguwa, put the question to his colleagues asking whether it was their wish to endorse Tinubu for the race, to which they answered in the affirmative.

He wanted it and have been working for it tirelessly. He has the pedigree, he has the intellectual capability, he is rich and has proved to everyone that he has the energy and strength to do the job. I think he is healthier than other candidates for being able to be moving around day and night, north and south seeking for support. U will surely get our votes.

Even from social media , people could clearly see the hatred and biases comments from particular ethics ….Tinubu doesn’t stop anybody from contesting again him .

Nobody should panic. The North will never let Tinubu be President, as they don't trust him. The Northern intelligentsia and leaders have not forgiven Tinubu, how when they were trying to restore peace, unity and inter ethnic harmony in the country, after Abacha's death with the restoration of democracy, Tinubu tried to push, as well as use his then Lagos State Attorney General, Osibajo to bring to trial Abacha's Northern associates. But for the political maturity of then ex-President Obasanjo, who remained resolute to continuing the Gen Abubakar administration's efforts to heal the Abacha years inter ethnic political fray and advance unity, Tinubu's moves for retribution on Abacha's associates could have wrought a great upheaval in the country during the nascence of democracy. Although the Northern leaders have decided to allow Tinubu to entertain himself and exercise fully his democratic rights to run, are however committed to pitching their tent elsewhere, when the time of decision comes, as they consider Tinubu too dangerous to preside over the country
