I'm writing an alice in wonderland themed story and wanted to share an excerpt! Tell me what you think :)) Cheshire Cat had become unsure of the control it had over its abilities. It knew it could move from place to place if it thought about it enough. It knew it could change shape if it so chose. And it kept a grin on its face because it was happy. At least, that was how it was supposed to be. But recently, nothing seemed to be working properly. The cat was flickering, in and out of time and space, into places it didn’t want to be and forms it didn’t remember choosing. The only thing that stayed the same was its happy grin. “I’m losing time. And myself.” “There is no time or self. We don’t control the cards we’re dealt. “ Cheshire looked over at the Hatter with some mild surprise. It didn’t remember coming back. It didn’t mean to come back. “How long has it been?” “Still tea, my friend. Ask W. Rabbit.” “It's been three rounds about the table,” piped up the March Hare. “And we got a letter.” Cheshire shook its head. It felt itself unraveling at the seams, from the very center of its being out to the stripes on its fur. “I worry the preservation of my mind has been… destructive to my being.” The Hatter laughed. It was compulsory. “You have managed to preserve your mind quite well. Jam in a jar; still tastes quite swell, but the jar keeps cracking, and that’s just as maddening.” “Yes, precisely. I don’t know where I go when I flicker. “ “Out, out, brief candle,” quoted the Hatter. Cheshire recognized it as Shakespeare; it had met the man twice, once more than the Hatter and thrice less than White Rabbit. Rabbit liked Shakespeare. “Do I still cast a shadow upon the ground?” The cat floated over to the Hatter and spun in the air. “You're not yet light and air alone, dear Cheshire.” “Sometimes I wonder. . . .” Cheshire laughed. “As long as my smile is still here, the rest is sure to follow.”

Until you go through the exact same thing. As time passes, I have less and less control over my imagination, unexpectedly diving into nightmarish daydreams, the line getting blurry between what's real and what's in my head. It's making me want to write about it. I mean, and get help too, eventually.
I'm going to eventually release my song, Haunted Bodies, to You Tube. When I do, I'll be sure to let you know. I think you'll totally dig it and I would be honored if you used it in one of your playlists. ❤️
We found Wonderland on the dark side of the moon. As I danced with you, the stars shone above us, and your beautiful eyes glistened with bittersweet tears, as did mine. We had left the world behind us forever, and we were all alone now. It was quiet and lonely in the dark, but as we succumbed to the madness that had been inside our hearts this entire time, we held each other's hands. Your palms were soft and small, like the cotton that grew on the fields under the bright sun. The bright sun, not as bright as your eyes that shone brighter than anything else in the universe. But they were closed now, in a serenity that could be lost at any moment, but at this moment felt like forever, a forever I did not want to escape.

my utmost apologies on not doing prior research on that band, i only heard of them the first time i made this playlist and didn't know about all the past controversy (which i know now, my absolute gratitude for the comments informing me). i'll be trimming out their song asap if youtube allows me to with the built-in editor. as for if they're the reason why the playlists get taken down, i only included them after the videos were taken down in the past and after receiving recommendation of this song. the reasons for why the videos were taken down was due to youtube's copyright id system, so i don't think the band/their song is the reason. but regardless, they will be trimmed out of the video hopefully soon if youtube lets me edit!
