It would be sick if they ever did pinball tables with this level of detail
Now they are! (it’s not functional tho)
I have the 1943 cabinet preordered! Can't wait!
I would get a Raiden Project one if they had it immediately
Would be nice to get more 90's arcades like that, I think Replicade's only release from that decade is the 1991 Street Fighter II.
Or just a Raiden machine in general. It'd be kind of weird to see Raiden Project on a mini-cab since that was a PS1 game, but a mini-Raiden arcade collection? Hell yeah I'd be all over that.
Ooooo split screen at the end, someone upped their production! Good video, fun little item.
They are super cool. Never bought one, but I did win one. After that I wanted to collect, but got other things to spend money on. Best version of tempest I got.
Got mine the other day two and I love it-- yeah, I guess $100 is a little pricy for a tiny arcade machine that isn't quite as playable as a larger one due to the size, but it kind of amazes me how they are even able to make money selling these at that price. With all the attention to detail put into it, I would think the profit margin would be really slim.
Just got mine yesterday and I’m loving it!
I just ordered it, I didn't know it also included 1943.
I have both of the versions on the way. Can't wait!
Pretty neat little collectors item. Wish that would make one for SINISTAR
Diggin the Digimon Mat!
Looks like something a figurine would play with
its a nick nack
@@MrSteveonbroadway yeah, could be great for decoration with all your figurines
That looks really cool that would look awesome on my shelf next to my game collection 👍
Awesome review Ron!
I got mine yesterday and I'm super impressed. I first started with the Street Fighter 2 cabinet and I never looked back
Awesome man! That machine look pretty cool! If I had the space and or money, I would collect these. A Zazzon, After Burner, Thunder Blade, Hang-On etc.... Would be really cool too!
I preordered the same one you have here. I can’t wait to get it. Will you be doing a review on the Saturn versions of Cotton 1 and 2 that came out on Switch?
I think I might buy this. It looks pretty cool.
I know a lot of guys who are buying these to put in Doramas with their 1/6 scale Hottoys action figures.
Thank goodness it includes 1943. I can't imagine someone buying this just for 1942...
I am 4 foot 9 and a beast the controller size is perfect!
This looks and really nice.
Gutted this can't be shipped to UK. Would have loved this. Can't wait for Q-bert from New Wave Toys though.
Why can't it ship to UK?
@@jewwario9214 Due to licensing issues. Do like New Wave Toys but they did not make it clear from the beginning that they could not ship outside USA and Canada I think. It's only when they announced you can pre-order it they then confirmed that. Should have said so from the start.
That is really nice looking, lots of detail and woodgrain. I kinda want it even if it is expensive.
Comment to help a brother out (yeah, I made it that far, love hearing u talk about smth so passionately, Ron)
I want a mini Strider, Outrun, and Wonderboy.
Hell yeah id be down for all those... If I had to pick one itd be Wonderboy though
@@Madlittlepixel right, me too. Outrun, maybe not, might be a bit hard to steer :)
Would have to be Shinobi for me. Sega arcade games were incredible.
@@homerthompson416 ooh thats a great one too, endlessly playable.
Ghouls n Ghosts
Nice! Thanks.
Great video!!!
its a shame they can only ship to the US and Canada for this release
I got their SF2 shipped down under but cant get this one. Shame
This is a collector item. No teen is going to play a mini-replica machine.
too damn cool!
Dude that is kick a**. If they make one of the dragon spirit games, then I would do the same . I would go in debt to get it. Cool vid. Cheers
New Wave/Capcom - get on that restock of SF2.... Or better still *Darkstalkers* !! Ummmm 😁
1 of my friends actually goes to round 1 arcade in your area name is starslay3r aka Ciji
Interesting. Enabling scanlines seems to disable the blur filter, as our lord intended. It’s just surprising, because it’s usually the other way around.
I have the street fighter 2 mini arcade stick I really like it
Still waiting to get mine.....
Can you possibly do a teardown on this and show us the insides and tell us the specs on what kind of board, could, and ram ect??? That would be really cool. Thanks!!
I have a question does the power cords you have on your 1942 arcade have like 2 fin like teeth on the small end of the plug. ? Thanks
Seems Capcom et all are literally hoaring their back catalogues out to these mini machine manufacturers... Looks nice tho for a minicade repro 👍
Oh yeah, Capcom is one of the bigger ones with licensing out to everyone and their momma. Some are just plain junk, some are really nice quality stuff like this... but with the price the Replicades go for its a very niche market for a mini replica with one or two games.
Only exception to that statement is Nintendo. We need Arcade1Up or Replicade machines of Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong Jr., Mario Bros., Donkey Kong 3, and Popeye, if you can.
@@Madlittlepixel And most of those junk ones are even running the arcade ROMs. Usually they're the NES version or some custom version. The best thing about these Replicades (and Numskull Games' "Quarter Arcades" cabtinets) is they're running the actual arcade ROMs.
@@Madlittlepixel Cheers Ron, love your channel, your reply has made my day man thanks✌️
If they made punchout I would be all over it
😎👍 🕹
So ... the smaller ones are what you use for your 6 and 7 inch figures and this is for your Hot Toys?
Not too into shooters for the most part but man I love 1942. The sounds just take me back the mid 80s playing that whenever my family went to this great chicken fried steak joint that had that game. 1943 was fun too but the sound will always make me a bigger 1942 fan.
This is the box, that comes with a box, that comes in it's original box, that is quite boxy lol.
Wish they would make Battlezone (caberet style) and/or RedBaron
Where can you find joysticks and buttons that small for a DIY version of this?
I think at this point you could open a tiny arcade for pygmy marmoset monkeys
Can you use any USB Controller Like Xbox or PlayStation? will it support a USB wireless game pad Dongle as well?
How do you pre-order from the website? I see "Coming Soon" and a place to leave my E-Mail Address to sign up for info but no ordering instructions. Thanks in advance.
Pre-orders were several months ago. They finally received the manufactured units from China and are currently shipping the pre-orders. I remember reading a few days ago that they'll start selling non-pre-orders on the website next week (Oct 5th or 6th I think).
@@jpears1100 Thank you. I will check next week.
I just ordered my 1942.
Can it better than the numskull mini arcade? I'm digging the hdmi output.
I've got 5 of the numskull Quarter Arcades and 4 of these Replicades. I find my numskull's are much more playable; i.e. their 1/4 scale is at the sweet spot for small size yet still playable. There's a youtube video of somebody making it to the last screen of the Pac-Man and somebody else getting over a million on the Dig Dug. The Replicades are just too small for anything other than casual play, imo (except for Dragon's Lair - it's perfectly playable from start to finish). I think the cabinet design of the numskulls is nicer: the cabinets are made of all wood (hobbyist plywood); even the inside supports; i.e., they're truly a miniature version of the original arcade cabinet. Versus these Replicades which are a mixtures of wood and plastic. The Replicades have better screen (viewing angle) and sound, too. Pros and cons to both. I love them both.
@@jpears1100 I have 3 of the numskull. I love them all.
Numskull's arcade has 5" screen but the replicade only has 3.5"...hmmm..Numskull's is better.
Lol, you might be the only person I've seen read a manual
Looks laggy. Am I seeing that right?
You can't plug this into a TV
Your review and video were good but that thing is ridiculous
Ridicule ! Those machines are way too small
