When you a hidden tilt rod you can cut the linkage so that individual sections of the louvres can be tilted separately.

Louvre blades are normally operated with a central control rod. We offer a hidden or concealed tilt rod. It's positioned at the back of the shutter out of sight. This option provides a clear view through the louvre blades. It looks even better when you choose a large 89mm louvre.
The louvre mechanism is tilted by hand, turn any louvre and they all tilt.
Extra privacy is gained by cutting a section out of the plastic linkage at the back of the panel. The louvres either side of the cut out can then be tilted at different angles providing more privacy when needed.
Tips: Hidden tilt rods are great in the bathroom as it makes cleaning shutters really easy. Plus are shutters are waterproof so they are suitable for fitting in a bathroom.
