Swampert, dragonite, charizard and obstigoon all work at level 40 or less. You can do alright without XLs but one legendary out of tapu fini, giratina, cobalion or creselia really helps.
Ultra league is not the most accessible - try great league you probably have more of em
I’ve killed every single one of these Pokémon listed in Ultra League with my Rhydon, Arcanine, and Exeguttor as a team💀 bro it’s a legendary team because it’s killed multiple legendaries and some mythicals
I think that instead of Dragonite, it should be Virizion. Also, the best 5 imo are: Giratina, Trevenant, Registeel, Cresselia, and probably Swampert (or Pidgeot, but Pidgeot is very bait dependent). Charizard is an extremely good sweeper, but because of Tapu Fini it's not amazing

This list is honestly pretty bad. Talonflame and umbreon have really fallen off and are definelty not pokemon that should be prioritised over another pokemon like steelix or g-fisk
Otherwise blast-burn hits like truck even its damage doesn't looks ressisted on water types

Poke daxi, could you go back to the mega’s counter as well as the 5 star counters? I really loved those because I mainly do mega’s for better Pokémon for raids
@@HB-yx5vx excadrill isnt very meta in the open ultra league, but it does see some play in the master league

My ultra league team is (1).Venusaur (Razor leaf + Frenzy plant , Sludge bomb) , (2). Charlizard (Fire spin + Dragon Claw , Blast Burn) and (3). Togekiss (Charm + Aura Sphere , Flamethrower). This team has 1 drawback that all pokemon are weak to Ice and my rank is 19

easily the most underused pokemon imo, wall to zard and talon and significantly less annoying than it's steel brother

It's been 5 months but I recently got a 15 13 15 rock. What moveset do you recommend?
I think Aurora’s is heavily underrated. The attack boost from meteor beam is so helpful, especially when u can charge it up pretty fast. It counters all flying type Pokémon as well.
Virizion is also really good for ultra league. Its not as defensive as cobalion but leaf blade does a lot more dmg than sacred sword and gives him more coverage options
true - struggles hard against flyers though
The issue is that it does have problems dealing with Pidgeot, Giratina, Charizard and Dnite. Sure it has stone edge for fliers, but it’s weaknesses make it not as reliable
I am so far leading an undefeated reign of 21 victories using venusaur as well, alongside swampert as a lead and charizard. Sylveon is also nicw

I have those pokemkn but unfortunately half of those are used in my great league, but I've somehow made magnezone swampert shadow gallade primarina bisharp and gliscor work.... sometimes... it wins 3/5 times consistently but it's just until I actually get my team built
TBH whatever you can make work is the best team

I have six towards the end of the list. Legendary’s are always difficult for me because poke genie says something much lower of an attack than you can trade unless you’re a new friend with somebody.
TBh you can forget the low attack thing for legendaries - its very hard to get low attack legendaries
@ I am that guy that wants to invest in rank 1 IVs. I know eventually I’ll come across the correct IV if I keep playing. I’ll consider rank 2 or 3 if its shiny🤙🏼
Their the best but bc people use them the most it's easier to know what counter pokemon to have. The best don't always win.

For the Halloween league: im using Skeledirge, Gourgeist, and Misdreevus. Skeledirge has been a great opener for me.
I really struggled losing most in both leagues before trying this team out.
Tbh i like to use togekiss, incineroar, excadrill and somethimes(alolan muk).

Don’t build umbreon or talon, all you need is swamp zard walrein, I’ve seen many people push legend with just those three mons. My favorite team personally is aurorus trev virizion which I pushed 3562 with

Great video as always Dax. I've had the Platinum medals for the Great and Master leagues for a while but always struggle when Ultra league comes around. Forgot about Trevenant (have a Great league one) until I watched this and had one that I built. Updated my Dragonite to Dragon Breath, ran them with my Swampert the past couple of days and finally finished off my Platinum medal for the Ultra league! I may never play it again now lol!
Also dolphan is great for ultra league literally put him in every battle and I most likely win them every time

Steelix honestly wrecks dragon dependent teams and is not common at the ranks I play at so opponents routinely misplay against it.

Yes steelix is quite strong
Many people use charizard (including me) so I use Samurott, Samurott with waterfall is great especially with hydro cannon since it charges up fast
I have almost none of these but I do have a 2500CP arcanine with thunder fang and crunch which is pretty good probably my best hitter I have
But that isn't that good swampert erases it

I use garchomp to start, then gardevoir and then finally either Arcanine or Feraligatr. I manage to win almost every time. I'm lvl 16 in GBL
And here I am at rank 22 with Gardevoir, Metagross and Conkeldurr

Something I like to use is my Lugia, I’m trying to get a double move set on it so currently I only have Sky Attack but it’s still pretty good I’d say

I like Snorlax with Lik and Body Slam/ Earthquake then Giratina altered with Shadow Claw and Dragon Claw/Shadow Sneak then Swampert with Mud Slap and Hydro Cannon/Earthquake

you need like a L50 Hundos of Dialga, Giratina-O, Zacian, Mewtwo, Excadrill, Togekiss, Metagross, Gyarados, Snorlax, Dragonite, Lugia, Groudon, Kyogre, etc.

i have been using the team : cobalion swampert and walrein since cobalion last came in raids. The team is too op

@ yes, cobalion is resistant to 9 types i think, swampert has hydro cannon which is op and walrein counters dragons
How you manage cresselia😵💫... It can destroy your backline... Plus Cobalion too don't counters it

It doesn’t really matter for wing attack for Charizard as you can put dragon breath or fire spin as I see those two fast attacks in the league, I would also recommend Greninja Water Shuriken, Hydro cannon with Night slash or aerial ace.

I use dragonite with dragon tail as fast + dragon claw and superpower, i once tested dragon breath with dragon claw and hyper beam for dragonite and it was shitty ,by the the time dragon claw got charged i was on verge of losing and was too unable to charge my dragon claw even for second time

Nice, mine is charizard and swampert with the movesets he showed, and chesnaught(I think I spelled that wrong) with superpower and frenzy plant, although I did have my swampert use sludge wave instead of earthquake cause of all the fairy types I was facing.

so its all subjective on what u run

My team for ultra league - Shiny Swampart with 13 15 14 , Shiny Walrein with 5 15 15 and Shiny Tapu Bulu with 15 15 14 .

Try Scizor yveltal and origin giranita 70/30 chance of win and lose weakness for gira and yveltal is fairy but Scizor with bullet Punch covers that

I literally just played ultra league mine:alazazam pinsir and rhyperior and their: Groudon rayquaza and kyogre i barely lost I got rayquaza and kyogre fianted

I was grinding and winning almost every match in great league with my team of, hitmonchan, Maracay’s, and charizard. But the when great league left I couldn’t find a team. Do u suggest I level up my great league team for ultra league?

@@AH13371 shadow Venusaur and shadow Snorlax are a good pick adding Cresselia in that order it a good team but I would get fight leads some games so it’s best to put Cresselia in the middle where Venusaur is
