- I spend an hour yapping and making a tier list with in-depth detail. I only made 1 tier list which is based around it's effectiveness or how good it is. I ranked the classes based around how good they are in hell and masochist siege only, so other game modes or lower difficulties are not applied to this.
Feel free to argue with me or start fights lol. Feel free to share me some things about your favorite classes, as well.
Hell content wise, we are in the midst of cooking up something potentially pretty big... But shush! That has it's own position of time.
If you have any request content wise, let me know. I honestly love making these tier lists and might branch out in style a bit more.

The amount of medics I see immediately getting overcharger after wave 1 is insane, then they never use it after buying.

Even though I am a scout main I do agree with scouts placing on the tier list, The akimbo item is better off to not be upgraded because its damage gets nerfed if you choose voltaic impact (yes chain damage exists but like you said what's the use of it if the enemies are spread out) , the accuracy of gunslingers are trash and the hit register is even worse if you play in a laggy server like me. Although scout is better in some cases (epilouge) it is very bad in others. I do think scout is mainly used for those that just want jetpack early on and a decent weapon, Although I mainly use shovel early game. Although I feel like it shouldn't be F tier I respect your opinion
Hey. volatic impact increases its damage and chain when gliding, hold shift in mid air to glide
You will glide slower descent when equiping volatic impact, while in mid air you can just shoot at the ground and it still connects, or shooting noobs directly thats the correct way to use volatic impact since btw it spawn camps

i'll give scout that: its beginner friendly since it is at its best in the early to mid waves; (1-6) which are the ones new players manage to reach most often
its not ideal but it gets the job done relatively simply, a thing classes like engineer and spec cannot say for themselves
the problem starts when the other kits simply powercreep the scout by just.. getting the jetpack themselves.
the scout then kinda just becomes an off brand assault at waves 7-10 since the passives dont give it much leverage and the armoury stuff everyone can get.
it is quite fun but not effective (mainly because your playstyle revolves around getting in melee range, and we all know at what range shielders are most effective...)
i dont even play scout that often, mostly guessing why people enjoy the class
Well some people like akimbo cuz they have life steal, but people will probably switch to spec once they find out that spec has life steal on his dmr.

agreed, although there is a LOT of yapping, you should have put spec at the top with recon and medic, the rest is F tier with assault being A tier because assault is good for clearing out lots of enemies ESPECIALLY in ultima (never used it LMFAO)
Recon and Spec are S tier. Medic I put at B tier due to being extremely powerful but being locked to a niche.
As an engineer main, engineer is amazing unless when at wave 7 and beyond, since tanks and other mechanical units demolishes your beloved pdc
i would recommend changing your machete to a shovel to increase your survivability since you have no healing options just like he said, your shotgun and shovel can really shreds gunners with a combo and can kill rangers safely in time by shovel attack and a well timed shotgun blast very quickly without getting killed by a ranger self-denonation
High ground is your best friend, (and your pdc) since shotguns are effective since it hits more bullets and spam rocket stormers and get free kills just like he said.
Rely on your rocket stormer for shielders, mechanical units and pesky enemies like cloakers and invisible saboteurs out of range of your shotgun.
From his take on proxy and how should you use it really changed my mind on utilizing pdc even further, he said that you can place pdc out of range from other units to not get destroyed, and use the proxy to refill and get free kills, and proxy refills THE PDC automatically when you deal damage enough to fill the bar. How did i not know this?? Thanks for informing me
Hallucinator is great when used well, when a cloaker rushes and attack the hallucinator, the cloaker will be stunned and an easy kill, place hallucinator when the enemies are on high ground or need a distraction.
the problem is that hallucinator is very ammo hungry so use it wisely.
With the new update engineer would be good til wave 6 or 7 if you put it near the sightlines of tanks
Engineer is a good class to save ammo on the early game for the other people to save ammo which a lot of newbies don't know...
@Kiethandco yeah, tanks and mechanical units really kill your pdc since they target pdc over players
Its pretty easy to save ammo as long you dont refill too much, rocket stormer helps save ammo and combat toolkit, but i prefer proxy for long duration and long distance ammunition for pdc
Btw i think rocket stormer got a amazing shadow buff, it has more dmg and it can one shot infrantries in direct hit, very very good

The problem is that specialist's artilitery makes that if you used it once, rangers and pdc wont target bosses, (backed up by dvn wiki "tablet" its true) basically hindering engineers and your own dog

not the biggest fan of scout class but if used right you can basically never die but thats really with most of the kits (except maybe medic)
Everytime something needs to be balanced or fixed, the devs decide to fucking delete it and add some new shit instead, but the problems are still there, as an example scout's damage output has no consistency at all. Overall good game and based tier list
Recon players sucks because they use their snipers to snipe the enemies instead of frontlining like a scout!!! They also have a melee so thats another reason for them to run at a shielder like chad scouts

That's why recon is the second most misplayed class. On wave Ultima I usually just rush middle and point blank my torque blade.
In all seriousness this tierlist is pretty valid
I would put engil in B because gov can kill off a lot of the fodder enemies allowing the specs to focus more on priority units such as achilles and platforms (and not cloakers and snipers) without worrying as much about being overrun by enemies
Also rocket stormer goes kinda crazy
And scout needs a buff

PS: I'm a scout main I do agree with lot of what you said reputation is pretty bad, most players are very annoying, die quickly because impatient, don't know scouts strengths and weaknesses, big ego . Which of course it happens because it's a pretty fun class you get a jetpack and so it's begginer friendly.Personally as a scout main I get aerorig asap then barely use anything else beside getting a RPG to help destroy mechs and I pretty much destroy all the fodder units all the time ( I play seige 200% and below ) . Because I think of it as a support because it just excels in killing fodders. I do agree it does get overshadowed in later rounds but generally in that mid-game is shines very well as a fodder killer. Overall I'd say it's very good for noob lobbies (seige 100 and below i play a lot ( so may be overhyping because I'm not playing with good players) ) for sure but once you start getting to harder stuff it just becomes worse and worse, i'd be open to talk more with you. Loved the video make more tierlists or else I'm going press y
Funny thing is, I remember playing mm and I liked to do a funny strat involving maxing out infantry, and even hordes of maxed infantry couldn't kill good aerorig users.

Skill issues, you're supposed to unlock as much of your kit as you can. By the time you get to wave three the only things you need to unlock are EMP and Artillery.

Scout deserves the f tier. Awful dps to ammo ratio, and then they die in the middle of outer jabit while using aero rig and demand revives. And to make matters worse, they try and steal your solo daed. Scout mains can burn in hell! (Where it's never used lmao)

Scout is the best class in the game because of the pistols which deal the best dps and starts with a jet pack even though everyone else can buy it, he also has 1 passive and that’s a little bit of extra speed when running, that goes miles into gameplay and definitely helps.
Medic is the worst class in the game, healing and reviving other people consistently just isn’t good. Even though the medic bow does the 2nd highest dps in the game, this class’s passive, being able to heal to full and faster is so useless.
Assault sucks, lol! His grenade launcher is poopie and deals almost no damage, especially with a direct hit, the stun it applies is so bad, it only stops gunners from revving up their guns which definitely isn’t good.
Engineer is such a mid class. Its passive, being able to buy charged for ammo box is useless. The only reason why you would buy more charges is to fill the crappy turret back up that deals 1 dps. Govonor is horrible and mads is the best upgrade in the game.
Recon is the 2nd worst class in the game, his sniper sucks and amour peeler is such a mid ahh weapon. Gift of fire is one of the best weapons in the game and recons passive to reload faster and get shot less isn’t good to the slightest.
Specialist is alright. He only has infinite ammo and a tablet that does an array of things. The heal on the gun is kinda useless and the motion hider gets me killed so much.

Uh yes. You just listed almost all of recon's items except the smg (which is really not that good). But the items you listed are not only good but incredibly good. Also that passive is a must when fighting hermes or hordes of infantry units.

Engineer despite being very good doesn't have anything to show that other classes don't have. Also in all fairness, aero is significantly better than exo. Exo is kind of garbage in 2.0.
@@koronx058 first of all, you cant even use exo in 2.0 inless your an admin or given it by an admin. secondly, i agree with your opinion on engineer except for the fact governor is goated. and finally, aero should be titled "stinky kill stealer 5000" because everyone i see use it just steals my kills. only time i use aerorig instead of terminal velocity is in epilogue.

ngl my rating [as a experienced DVN player who is Semi-OG and didn,t reach lv 70 bc of the break i did] Now i would rank Assault at ALSO A, Great in overall, sucks when used incorectly,
then uhh Engineer?, B-D Deepending if you goin for Combat Enginner or just a Lazy Engineer soo ye.
Medic a solid S-A Tier, needed for the pro servers, literarly a staple of survival
Recon is betwen S and B so ima say A, Great DMG overall, lacks some Crowd Control [you can just buy RPG or smth] and well the teleporter is NICE but not rrly used allat
the Scout is ngl B. Great in experienced Hands, Sucks for newbies.. theyre just rushers and die

{Also what Scout brings to the table is a Experienced Aerorig Scout.. can be DEVISTATING for the nausians, being able to mow em down.. and same for Terminal with experienced players they can crush/manuver around the enemys their double pistol {{Voltaic impact for specific}} Is GREAT with jetpack being able to pull off fast hit and run, and well so the AP [Akimbo Pistols] are good-ish enough. Alsoooo they HAVE a Tap Fire but you gotta wait a BIT longer than a rifle, but uhh well... the heal on the AP is welllllll... not rrly great but also preaty good, if youre goin against a LOT of infantry it can either save you or get you Over Confident and die, Also you can just NOT Upgrade the AP its literarly useless to get GunSlinger and Voltalic if u get aerorig.. soo uhh.. just don,t waste your R,s. You are looking at a tier list over like 6 classes that is an hour long. I don't think yapping should be something you have to worry about lol. I am going to say my piece as a very experienced modern player.
Only reason I don't put medic at S tier is you really don't need them if your team is good as pacemaker easily gets the job done and so does simply not dying. Also solo content, medic is the worst. However, medic is still exceedingly amazing and in public scenarios having that good team will rarely happen.
Teleporters are honestly one of the best tools in the game and are a device that can make medics obsolete as once you have a teleporter, most of the waves become a breeze and it's almost COMPLETELY a necessity for solo runs. Hell level content, teleporters are mandatory, but that's hell which is too specific to count. Recon's best trait is that it's cheap, coming with some really amazing items and has an amazing passive making it almost unkillable at times.
Scout is probably the most wild one but I see where you are going with it. For akimbos I would just call them akimbos as AP is another weapon (armor peeler). I think scout could have been a rank higher maybe at best, but scouts are so low because they don't actually do much that other classes have and their only real purpose is to have early jetpack, but having a lack of items still makes scout unironically one of the most expensive and inefficient ways of playing. Scout falls off extremely hard on higher levels, especially. Akimbos cost too much ammo while having the worst hit registration and while voltaic is theoretically amazing, it gets killed to its bugginess which really is not its fault. Another issue is that assault kind of steals one of scouts best purposes and does it better which being an aero build. Scout is pretty good for speeding early waves up and would be a lot better if it's kit was not as expensive. Scout for mid game however I would say is probably one of the best classes, but I don't do mid level content anymore so I couldn't say.
@@koronx058 Cool ngl, i get u with this a LOT i like to make it into a subclass i like to call "bri`ish prime" literarly silly.. and just get the Silly 3 charge throwing blade, the AeroRig ANDD The Rallying Cry.. its OP for anythin else than like a Tanky or Shielder or Platform.. but ye... ngl scout with MEELE is literarly a OP Class, and Rallying Cry makes it preaty much nearly effective health like an Assault but Worse, so ye... you CAN,T meele shielders tho, bc its not like 20% increase in HP but its more of a yee... so shielders are still bad for scouts, even tho they COULDDDD hyphoteticaly go into another subclass "Sniper wannabe" wich is just a scout with a AP [Armor Peeler] and just terminal velocity for easier mobility, bc recon,s biggest thing is the you know everythin.. but with scout its Meh... but STILLLLLLLLL before like 1.9-ish or sum the Upgrade of the Jetpackes were 16R.. meaning you don,t need to BEG your team for 1R.. even tho as a Liker of all Classes and a Double DULLED Shovel that i Am... its for me 1 of the best survival classes [in the right hands] bc in like Mastermind Mode Scout that is SKILLED Can literarly be like a NIGHTMARE for the MM [But bc this is talkin about SIEGE] now scout mostly ISSS great for MOST bosses with some exceptions i fell like you should just put it 1 above F tier ngl... Like D Tier and higher is bessicaly its good... bc in SIEGE a lv 50+ Experienced guy that was an OG can POP OFF after wave 3... meaninggg that scout is alr.. not too bad.. good enough for keepin team alive.. but meh its your choice

nobody even gives a fuck about it anyways but heres my opinion
S : Assault and Specialist
Assault is tanky as heck and its weapons are really good to start with. Assault's weapons are underrated. specially bolter.
Specialist has only 1 weapon but its abilities are a huge advantage for them ranging from spawning a whole ranger to striking them with 4 fucking explosive to disabling literal platforms and tanks
A : Medic and Recon
Medic's have nothing special and useful in combat but it is extremly useful when their weapons are used and upgraded correctly that can help in both combat and medical assistance
If you main recon. you are he reason recon is in tier A. recon has nothing too special but the sniper rifle can be extremly useful when not aimed by a half brained level 3
B :
C : Scout
Scout's has nothing too special rather than saving on 20 reserve to get fast mobility from the start of them game. other than that. if used correctly it can be also a great kit. Just nothing special about it.
D :
F : Engineer
Oh my god this kit has nothing special. turrets are not even useful like they barely even aid in the battle. the barrier literally is useful only with hallucinator that consumes too much ammo, no proper fucking weapon to shoot for long range. and a shotgun that is only useful against daedalus.
