This is our car, one year na sya this month and ang ganda nya so far. No problems at powerful sya tapos plus factor napaka elegant ng car di ka mahihiya pag may occasion akala nila kalevel ng fortuner hehehe. Must buy

Love your observation about the cupholders upfront. They were probably thinking about the typical drive thru situation. Would love to see you drive that thing uphill with maybe 4 passengers and some food etc. ie. typical family trips and tell us about performance etc. Thanks and subbed!

Ours is an E A/T variant and had it for more than two years na. Regarding your knee hitting the push start/stop button, na aadjust ang seat height para hindi tumama ang tuhod.

Yes, the suspension is not quite good at medyo semi power steering ang wheel or siguro nasanay lang ako sa accent na sobrang gaan ng manebla but we had a good experience with the car. Thanks for sharing this review. I'm just practicing driving.

5 link suspension ang rear ng Rush, its not a soft ride -but more on handling. If u have a fair knowledge in suspension settings u will have a better apprecuation of it. I suggest you do cornering at 70kmph

sobrang on point nung mga observations! i’m owning one kasi. not really for off-road, more on city driving. wala pang one year yung car, i had changed flat tires. dalawang beses to be exact.
kasama kaya sa warranty yan?alm ko un gulong may warranty pag bago at saka hnd na kasama ng sira ng rush un gulong,un brand ng gulong at un pagkakagawa,meron kasing gulong na may defect kaya laging may warranty,pero hnd p nmn kmi na tyambahan ng may sira gulong,natusok ng pako nun napadaan sa ilalim ng skyway n ginagawa pa.

Kaya siguro matalbog nakaset ang suspension na mabigat ang karga or naka set na 5-7 plagi ang nakaskay pag mabigat di na matalbog
Actually it can go run about 10 hrs going to abra and it’s all good no problem at all!

Daihatsu makes reliable small size engines, with proper yearly maintenance it will go a long way just like my 1.5G Avanza. But your wristwatch attracts me more than the Rush..

I owned 1.5L City. I'm thinking 1.5L Rush is quite weak since its heavier and 7-seater... 1.5L is decent for sedan though it takes extra secs to speed up from a standstill (traffic lights, etc), so how much more if its in SUV Rush.... for me, 1.5L is for running, not for hauling...
...sguro sir kaya matalbog dahil lift up sya at ang suspension para sa full load at maganda rear wheel drive, planning to buy also this kind of SUV astig ang porma ng toyota rush lalo na trd sportivo. watching from KSA.
Okay ka mag conduct ng review sir. Sana ma-review mo ang Geely Coolray. Malapit lang sayo showroom nila (sa video kasi U.P. Diliman ka nag test drive .. .heheh), sa North EDSA, Bago Bantay.
Naku! Full pack ang features ng Geely, parang P2M sa dami ng features nun. Walanka ng hahanapin pa, well except sa 2 wheel / front drive, pero P1.080.000 lang ang price ng top of the line.

Which is better rush or avanza automatic
Thanks. Hindi pa ako naka review ng Avanza but I will soon. Safety sa Rush ako. Madami air bag. In terms of driving feel siguro halos pareho lang yan. Both rear wheel drive. Syempre mas malaki si Rush kaya I think Rush mas maluwag.
Maverick Ardaniel masikip avanza pero madali i drive,na try ko na sa avanza ng tito ko,nasikipan ako maski sa unahan pa un pwesto ko at test drive ko pa.
fyi lang sa mga nagrereklamong mabagal ang rush, Their not meant be driven at high speeds!!! SUV po yan, no SUV is meant to be driven at high speeds! if you want something fast, get a sedan!!!

Papi i need your honest opinion. Mali ba if naka 2015 montero glx automatic ako then papalit to 2018 rush E automatic? Sino mas comfortable gamitin and madali for daily drive? Suspension sino mas may comfort? Maalog kasi montero

@@ameliacrew599 I've went with Toyota Wigo hehe I choose to be economic and I'd recommend it for everyone if you have a budget to maintain but if you have extra I'd go with Ertiga. Rush has the looks but performance wise it's underwhelming (base on the opinion of my colleagues)
@@ianpoool i was considering to get an Ertiga as well since it’s more fuel efficient until my boss told me that the body/frame is manipis so safety-wise, it’s better to get the toyota.

Well I think its a good idea that they built this toyota rush pang masa sa abot ng kaya.. so expect a 1.5 engine that can give you. If you want more luxury guys then buy something worth for you.

binago lang kaha. Same interior, same engine. You just sit slightly higher in Rush. Parang SUV/Crossover version ng Avanza.

Not same engine with avanza
Hindi siya body-on-frame. Its kinda like a 'semi body-on-frame but still unibody' type. The Avanza which it is based on technically is also a unibody type. Daihatsu designed them to be unibodies pero may reinforcing ladder frames sa ilalim na spot-welded. So parang body-on-frame na din, hindi nga lang pwede tanggalin ang ladder frame as its permanent na.
Good info! Considering the purchase of the Rush E-AT. I rode as a passenger in one from Cavite to Batangas. Very comfortable.
Try to adjust your sit backwards for your knee not hitting the start button.

I felt like it is underpowered, hence baka matakaw sa gas. almost same HP lang din naman sila ng Xpander and Avanza.
Bitin ang torque parang puno ang karga.
Parang sikip ngndriver seat kahit 5'6" ka lng.
Maganda yan para di nakaka antok sa tplex medyo naririnig ung sound s labas
The previous generation of the rush (around 2006) is a toyota model of the Daihatsu Terios. I saw that because before we moved houses, we had lived 8 years next to a Terios, (our neighbors car) so I researched about it ever since I saw the new Rush.

Ang gusto ko sa rush Habang tumatagal lalong gumaganda ang takbo responsive at fuel mileage. Tapos hindi na siya masydong matagtag sa likod kahit full ang tire pressure as recomended.

Hi Khristy. Yes it's a great car. I suggest mag test drive ka. It will all depend on your needs. If you want comfortable for everyday get the xpander or ertiga. Pero kung gagamitin mo pang kargahan ng mabibigat go for the rush. Sana ma enlighten ka. Hehe...
