not gonna do everything from the previous games. but basically, the player in sister location is michael afton, the son of william afton.
william afton designed establishment to kill kids (its just what he likes doing). he also designed an animatronic to kill children, which was called baby. it killed children when only 1 child was in the room. william kept her daughter (elizebeth) away from baby, so it wouldnt kill her. but eventually, she was left alone with baby. baby showed some ice cream, and when Elizabeth got close, baby killed her. her soul now haunts baby.
in the present, michael afton explores the facility which features many animatronics (the funtine animatronics) which people can rent. this also includes baby. the reason he went there was to found out where his sister (elizabeth aka baby) went. when he goes into the facility, the animatronics ALMOST recognize him (they would know who william is, but not michael).
eventually, the funtime animatronics "pretend" to be faulty so they can be scooped, which is what happens to ballora, baby, and the other animatronics. they do this so there souls can be freed and there endoskeletons can be used to create a powerful being, ennard. eventually, michael gets scooped as well. ennard uses the skin of michael as a disguise. they want to find william, and eventually kill him (because william effectively killed elizabeth, and wants revenge).
this is what the minigame cutscenes are about. michael starts out all cheery and happy with normal skin, but eventually turns rotten and purple, but ISN'T the official purple guy, which is william afton. eventually, ennard leaves michaels body and enters the sewers, where it roams (to this day(?), maybe). michael also tries to find william (his dad).
i think this is all up to date, please correct me if im wrong. this is only the lore in the sister location game. the full lore is a lot more complicated

@@tescotime they stopped roaming the sewers at pizzeria simulator as they then became molten Freddy and scrap baby who got trapped inside the building at the end of the game to burn with Micheal, William, Henry, and lefty(who was holding inside marionette that is possessed by the soul of Henry's daughter)

Michael also figured out what I assume William wanted the whole time, which is immortality or longevity. Michael only dies by the fire which relinquishes his soul
That actually explains a lot coz technically he became an "animatronic" when he had Ennard inside him so the only explanation for surviving is that he possessed himself. Wow
It actually does make sense. William's abuse, the despair of both his siblings deaths, his mother leaving them, finding out all of it was his father's doing, and then being physically destroyed by the scooper. From all of that, Michael became pretty much the perfect amalgomation of agony and robotics to become a living embodiment of Remnant, and with his soul posessing the body after Ennard abandoned it, he became a more human equivilent of what the original FNAF crew were.

I really appreciate how accurate the captions are, it makes it so much easier to focus on Mark's commentary, especially when there's a lot going on, like with Ballora and Funtime Freddy's binaural audio elements, and sounds of the shocks, cameras, and stuff. I'm not hard of hearing or anything, but I do get distracted and overwhelmed easily when I don't have captions, so thank you to whoever did them so well!
honestly same, it’s just some videos it’s so hard to hear anything that’s going on and it just sounds like mush, but having captions and being able to read what you hear is great. and i love when content creators like Mark and Grian put work into subtitles for the viewers who need/want it.

Fun Fact: There is a set of animatronic blueprints hidden in Sister Location’s game files. The blueprints are for the main 4 animatronics in the game, and looking closely at Funtime Freddy’s blueprint reveals the shape of a child in his stomach.

I like how Funtime Freddy’s mechanic is based around his voice. Scott really knew how much the fans loved the voice and used that against us and it’s honestly kinda brilliant. Plus, it sounds like the VA is having a lot of fun with these lines

I think ennard only replaced the organs of Michael with the scooper, storing the wiring wouldn’t be hard even if it had to coil around bone structures, under muscle which would make him actually look ripped.

@Lesbian Janus honestly i think Scott kinda just add plots as he goes. the plot itself is part of the problem with Scott constantly just bringing up more questions than answer nearly every game.
I love how Funtime Freddy's voice doesn't really match what he is. When I hear it, I think of some scrawny psycho dude when in actuality he is a hulking death machine. My favorite animatronic so far.

I just wanna correct Mark here for the whole Purple guy throwing up those mechanical objects. This is not Purple Guy/ William Afton. That is his son, Michael Afton, who was working at Sister Location. He got killed when his insides got scooped by the scooper in the scooper room, and is kind of like an empty animatronic suit. Since Ennard is basically wearing Michael's skin as a suit, the skin (or human body parts) are starting to rot. Which explains why he was normal, but then turned purple. That's why this Purple Guy is differently designed than the ones in the previous FNAF games.
