- Come with us as we properly shakedown The 2023 Bronco Raptor AKA "The Braptor" out in the Ocotillo Wells OHV Area just east of San Diego. I am personally excited about shaking down vehicles because of all the off-road-related features FORD has added to this version. I have driven everything off-road from Trophy trucks to Rally Cars to UTV’s and I drive thousands of off-road every year whether it’s coursework for our races or just having fun it’s what I do. We are not the go-slow on-road guys, we are going take this thing out to Ocotillo and put at least a hundred miles on in and find its weaknesses.

The reality is the Bronco Raptor is damn near perfect.
Agreed! It’ll be perfect with a V8 similar to the one in the F 150 Raptor R 🤩
I know everyone wants the V8, but personally I love the Twin Turbo V6 that it comes with. I can’t complain about it. Whipple reprogram alone boosts it up to 500hp approx with the bigger intercooler. Pretty nice gains for such simple mods. The transmission and gearing is amazing.
@@Logan-de3xx don’t get me wrong, if the Bronco Raptor never comes out with an R model, I’ll still be thrilled that they even had this version in the first place. I’m eyeing the Whipple tune but waiting for Ford Performance to announce their tune. Gearing is perfect which is why I’ll stick to 37s.

You stated that you can adjust the shocks manually? Possible you could explain how to do that? And if so is it compression high speed low speed? Rebound damplng? Possible spring preload? That was a great review thank you!!!
There are multiple shock settings based on the terrain you are tackling.
