Look. I was Columbia class salutatorian of 1974. Two of my courses were in Columbia-Barnard's top ten in 1991. When I came up for tenure that year, it was made clear to me they didn't want a Jew. Nobody, not Columbia's Jewish president, no one, stood up for me. I'm seventy now. My life partner died seven weeks ago. I'm probably going to follow him very soon. Any Jew who works for, studies at, or gives money to Columbia is a fool or a monster.

As much as I dislike some of AIM's political positions I'm really grateful that they're one of the few groups out there with the stones to do what they're doing. I'm just left of political center and I'm incredibly grateful for people on the right speaking up for the Jewish people. And the silence on the left is like a baby born without a breath.

I am Jewish and was accepted by Columbia's School of International Studies for a graduate program. They gave me no scholarship and I couldn't afford Columbia. So I sent Columbia a rejection letter. I called another top university. They decided to give me a merit fellowship and stipend. I won a major prize for my thesis and a professor told me, "It was a pleasure to read." Am I the sort of student Columbia seeks to discourage, to reject? I rejected Columbia first! Ha! After reading the administration's cowardice in the face of harassment of Jewish students, I would NEVER ATTEND COLUMBIA. You will be left with the stupid and inept. The chanting mob, that's all they are good for. The bangers on Jewish dorm doors at 1 AM. If that's what Columbia wants, that's what they'l be left with.
