- After loads of renovations, we finally moved into our apartment in Calgary and the most exciting thing to hang on the wall is our new 3D wooden world map, which was given to us by Enjoy the Wood.
We figured ya'll want a tour of our new place so here it is! Plus, Enjoy the Wood has sponsored this video and has sent us one of their beautiful wooden world maps to hang on our wall. I don't see Tanzanian islands Zanzibar where I grew up, I wish they could have those islands. by the way I just order my world map last week, am excited to put it on our new house. By Guys. From Down Under we always judge a map’s worth by whether it includes poor little Tasmania! And yes, yours does! A well constructed map! Currently we are looking at colour schemes for our caravan, moving up from a camper trailer! We paid much attention to your kitchen! It looked great! Love the colours! I hope your uncle is doing better each day! I lived in Thickwood at the time. Definately a crazy day in history I'll also never forget. Thanks! Yeah, now that we're here, it actually is decent size. I think one more bedroom would be ideal for when we have kids, but its good for now. Probably compared to mega cities, it would be huge haha

I too bought a Calgary condo in 2007. It was the worst decision as that was the peak price for condos. Every since I been watching the value slowly tank away. I too am renting it out at a lost. I'm glad that you were able to renovate and make use of it. Hopefully I'll get to that point with my 2007 Calgary condo lol
haha awful eh! the market collapsed less than a year later....Almost recovered in 2014 and then collapsed again :(

Does the wall have to be even and smooth?
Hmmm, I think it helps. Basically, you take a strong tape they provide and stick the pieces to the wall, so you can maybe get away with it being a little uneven
So how much was it back in 2007? I think it looks nice!
With all the lawyer fees and insurnace, it was close to $260K. 5 years later, we got hit with an assessment for $50,000. So that makes it 310,000. Today, some of the lower units are selling for $200 :(
