If Pete released a 1 hour video of him just playing John Mayer riffs on this Strat, I would never have trouble falling asleep ever again. You're a wizard man!
Had my GT 1000 for around a month now....excellent piece of kit....don't know why people are moaning that it's difficult to use....I didn't need the manual....it's not something I would buy as a beginner...I can get pretty damn close to every tone I've tried....never going to use every effect and trick it can do ...just nice to know it's there. ....and it's sounds and reacts better than any other floor based multi effects unit ...and I've owned and tried most of the well known ones....cheers pete
Pete! You completely rock! You are honestly who I want to play like. Of all guitarist, from Hendricks to Clapton etc, you are who inspires me and I want to mimic.
Very convincing Mayer tones. I was amazed how easy you got the tone outta that boss multi effects pedal. Makes me wonder why I have so much money in my pedal board when one unit can do so much it's crazy. Great video Pete and like always you play beautifully!
I've had the GT1000 for about 7 months. I love it. But not once have I used the Bluetooth feature. I tried it for like 2 minutes when I first got it. But honestly I have no problem sitting on the floor and just using the knobs.
Just like several of my long time friends who are professional gigging and or session recording guitarists. I can watch them or Pete just noodling, fiddling about and finding the sound they want. I have always found it fascinating even before I started playing guitar myself decades ago. Cheers for the content Pete. :D
Very casual getting-to-know session with a hugely complex device. It’s helpful to see what we can all expect. iPad is mandatory in my opinion. I think Boss has only done iOS dev for the full size 1000 and NOT yet for the 1000Core. I expect them to remedy that. I’m super impressed by Boss’s new products. Great review, Pete.
Hey ya Danish Pete! Just wanted to drop you a line as a thx to you and all the lads at Andertons for helping me on my journey to becoming a better guitar player. I have picked up the electric guitar in last couple years as I only played a few chords on acoustic and I'm absolutely loving all the helpful gear reviews, tips, and just the inspiration in general. Love you guys, keep up the amazing work, congrats on all the success you've had hear in You Tube land. Cheers!!
There is no doubt that Pete is a polished player. What stands out to me is how tasty he is. He plays with such expression and feeling and doesn't overplay like too many guitarists who try to put a million notes out there in one second. A listener wants to be taken on a trip. The song has to flow. I don't want it to be a bumpy road with no feeling. Great job Pete. Keep up the good work
i personally like that you are speaking as though youre rushing, however youre still clear in what youre trying to get across, it gives a nice vibe and shortens the time between your playing without losing content. also love the playing man, so skilled!
That bit at about 16 minutes... there zero people in an audience that would care where those sounds were coming from. Beautifully expressive sound and excellent playing.
Some boy Pete, after you to popped round the other day and fix the drum on my washing machine , I was surprised that when I put it on to do a test of the rinse spin, it started playing Slow Dancing In A Burning Room... Man's a genius!... Thank's Pete, keep on with the sweetness and light...
BTW You do a great job as a Presenter for Andertons, your a great player and have come a long way as a Presenter from the early days when you started...
Hi Pete. Great tones and great playing, as usual! Especialy liked the 'Warm Clean' setting. I feel, however, that DSP technology usually translates in a slight fuzzyness of the sound - as if it was 'pixeled'. Wish you could try an analog solidstate mainstay - like the Peavey Bandit - in one of your next videos, to show everyone how Tone ≠ $€£€. Cheers.
Robert Bentley I own and love my helix. And I'm super glad that I think this new thing from Boss sounds legit. Competition in the market is good for all of us players!
I would like to see a series of blind comparisons. Choose five amps/amps+pedals/modelers, play them in similar ways, and then let the audience discuss likes/dislikes and preferences. Then reveal what was what a day or week later. Good way to sort out the 'listening with the eyes' thing. There are times when this GT-1000 sounded good-as good as tube amps demoed here, but my mind keeps trying to convince myself that i'm missing something 'digital,' and/or that it can't be good because i decided it was bad months ago when i first heard other demos. Head to head. That's the ticket.
I'm just going thru all of your videos from your channel I've missed over time.your the best on insite and my favorite player of all times now.(OF ALL TIMES NOW!)I'd give my left one to have a 10 minute blues jam with you.your playing is so meaningful.simply the best by far
Pete, you are an amazing guitar player and also very good in front of the cameras doing these videos. I really enjoy your channel, keep going, please!!! Cheers!
This is why I'm a fan of the line6 amplifi, for just practicing and noodling at home, search for an artist and there's likely some presets that people have worked on, tweak it for your particular guitar etc and you're away. You can refine it down more if you want, but it's usually not necessary. I wouldn't use it for a gig (I have the preamp head version) but with a foot controller I probably could at a push. As ever, loving Pete's playing, such great touch and feel.
He’s the guy who has convinced me to only use boutique single effect pedals. Yet I have watched every second of this, only because he is talking and playing. Cheers, Pete!!
I love how much of an outward Mayer fan Peter is. So many people are afraid to fanboy Mayer bcuz of his early pop music reputation. Guy shreds and everyone knows is
I went to get my EVH guitar repaired at the shop the other day the screw fell out that holds the strap holder there was a GT 1000 I had a try out of and it sounded really good and responded like a real tube amp
I have to say Boss in the last year has really put out some good stuff! Especially the Katana amps man they are sooo good! Love my katana mini it's a great little practice amp. Also Pete are your fingers magic? You have a very sensitive touch and you are very aware of dynamics instead of wacking the shit out of the guitar. Wonderful demo as always! 😎🎸🎵🎶
Went head to head last weekend, GT1000 vs Headrush. The GT1000 had to add an overdrive pedal just to get the job done. HR all the way and the pad is on the unit. No comparison actually.
Pete could get Mayer tones outta a Bc Rich in a Randall transistor head
Ha ha. I would give it a go :-)
Peter Honoré maybe do a "does it Mayer?" series where you play ridiculous gear combos.
Aggressive Elevator Music that would be an incredible idea
I think Mayer could get them too.
@@danishpete You're a great player sir. People can learn a lot just from watching you and your technique. Spot on man.
Came for Pete, stayed for Pete
If Pete released a 1 hour video of him just playing John Mayer riffs on this Strat, I would never have trouble falling asleep ever again. You're a wizard man!
Mayer in the title? Instant 500k views (mainly by me).
One can only hope :-)
Well, it hooked me in. :D
Pete is turning into Johnny Depp.
Make sure he does not use the ring slide
No, he is turning a John Mayer wannabe
Nicolò Arcuti Pete is turning into Chuck Norris.
Or is John Mayer turning into a Peter Honoré wannabe!!!? :-)
Why the insult?
That was lovely, thank you Pete !
Now I'm just waiting for the "Captain & Pete meet Mayer"
Same challenge but with Boss Katana, please.
Paweł Stanek yes !
Good shout. Best. P
yes please using both just the top panel and then one where you go into the tone studio and create a channel patch.
Oh yes, please please! :D My katana 50 is my first amp and I'd like for a pro to show me how to tweak it!
Already did that :) Cheers!
Boss has really stepped their shit up.
You've got the John Mayer hair, facial hair, and glasses going on too :D
Had my GT 1000 for around a month now....excellent piece of kit....don't know why people are moaning that it's difficult to use....I didn't need the manual....it's not something I would buy as a beginner...I can get pretty damn close to every tone I've tried....never going to use every effect and trick it can do ...just nice to know it's there. ....and it's sounds and reacts better than any other floor based multi effects unit ...and I've owned and tried most of the well known ones....cheers pete
Even for me, coming from GT-100, I find a lot of its UI/UE are not intuitive if you were to compare to its previous gen and other modellers
this is a far more useful demo then just going through presets
Pete! You completely rock! You are honestly who I want to play like. Of all guitarist, from Hendricks to Clapton etc, you are who inspires me and I want to mimic.
I prefer Peter playing Mayer than John playing Mayer. Cool glasses too!
Very convincing Mayer tones. I was amazed how easy you got the tone outta that boss multi effects pedal. Makes me wonder why I have so much money in my pedal board when one unit can do so much it's crazy. Great video Pete and like always you play beautifully!
Maybe this will help me though my post break up depression...thank you Pete, awesome playing 🎸😁🖤
I've had the GT1000 for about 7 months. I love it. But not once have I used the Bluetooth feature. I tried it for like 2 minutes when I first got it. But honestly I have no problem sitting on the floor and just using the knobs.
I could listen to Pete play Mayer stuff all day
Just like several of my long time friends who are professional gigging and or session recording guitarists. I can watch them or Pete just noodling, fiddling about and finding the sound they want. I have always found it fascinating even before I started playing guitar myself decades ago. Cheers for the content Pete. :D
Classy “I’m gonna find another you” riffin. You were jammin out

When Pete not only nails the tone but the looks too haha

make a video of how to get Danish Pete tones. Your choice of gear, starting from scratch, no presets.
i personally like that you are speaking as though youre rushing, however youre still clear in what youre trying to get across, it gives a nice vibe and shortens the time between your playing without losing content. also love the playing man, so skilled!
I think Pete could get what ever tones he wanted out of a string and a can...fun to watch

Every time I see that golden scratchplate I consider getting one for myself. It looks really cool.
it looks cool.
Mister Monsieur where to buy??
Awesome Mr. Peter Honore 👍🏽👍🏽🥰🥰🤗🤗🎸🎸
Pete can get great tones plugged into a tin can. Great video! Thanks, Pete!
Glad to see you have your own channel! Love hearing/seeing you play. My fav player out the Anderton crew.

Hallo Peter Honoré bonjour goeiendag . Nono nooo YOU are the Boss :) greatings from Belgium .

I think WE did a great job. Your chops and GT and my ears - perfect combination. Cheers Pete!
7:59 you kind of look like John Mayer :)
Great video. I'm glad you're posting on your own channel again.
Great video
and a guitar lesson
every time
Pete you are the Danish John Mayer. Awesome video
Wonderful playing as usual my friend. Great Mayer-esque tones as well. Good job ;)
You helped me a lot my friend! Thanks a lot
Oh man, I love your "touché", great, great playing !
Awesome, glad you have your own channel now!!

I enjoy your videos SO much..!! You are a fantastic musician. Such a joy to watch. Thank you
I will never tire of watching Danish Pete videos jamming to JM tunes 😛 - hello from Australia!
As always, Pete. Super tasteful. Thanks for the great content, Anderton's.

You saucy beast. Cool video, and great tone !
The colour scheme on that strat is dope
One of the only channels I watch every video of

19:09 omg that was amazing 😉 the Gt1000 sounds really good
Warm Clean is the Mayer Clean Tone for sure , Mate !
Have watched a ton of Andertons videos lately. Awesome work Pete. You rock!
Cool video!... but I'm just here to steal some licks. :P
I love the Boss GT-1000. Pete, please do more tones on it. Like a Hendrix fuzz or a Clapton Blues Breaker tone! Thanks for the videos, dude!!
Very good Pete your own channel, congratulations, greetings from Mexico
You're such a good player Peter, why not make an album of your own?
Thank you. I am working on it.. Best. P
in case let me know.... i can review it here www.rootshighway.it/recensioni/2018/cooder.htm
@@danishpete I hope you call it DP Sessions .. 😏
Tyler B might want to urban dictionary what Dp stands for mate lol
More, I don't care what, videos is what I would like to see.
WE LOVE YOU PETE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Youre doing great. I always watch the Andertons channel and your playing along with Rabea and Rob keep me amazed. Great work man.
Man! He even got the stache!
Pete! I love your playing, man. You’re a master of dynamics.
You are a phenomenal guitarist and I love your videos.
Thank you Hadi. Best. P
That Timberlake at the end!
I love how much of an outward Mayer fan Peter is. So many people are afraid to fanboy Mayer bcuz of his early pop music reputation. Guy shreds and everyone knows is
Nice demo Pete. I shall be purchasing one v v soon, to upgrade from my old GT-8...
Pete! Definitely would love some lick lessons in future vids!
I went to get my EVH guitar repaired at the shop the other day the screw fell out that holds the strap holder there was a GT 1000 I had a try out of and it sounded really good and responded like a real tube amp
Man, you’re so incredibly good
Pete you look a bit like the Mayer in this one!... and that strat is lush.
I love my TC pedals, but this thing sounds nice. Thanks for the great video/tutorial.
7:58 even got the spaced-out Mayer look going on too! Haha
Great work as always!
I hope one day you get to jam with the man himself
Nice playing Pete!
Love your playing Pete
Any strat into a Fender-type of amp can get anyone there. The trick is getting the right technique. 👌
Peter Honore is becoming one my favourite guitarists. I am putting him in there with Frusciante, Clapton, and Mayer.
I have to say Boss in the last year has really put out some good stuff! Especially the Katana amps man they are sooo good! Love my katana mini it's a great little practice amp. Ooh Pete using a multi fx for a change. Interested to see what Pete can do and what he thinks.
Watching now!!
Pete, your such a great CZcamsr with awesome talent, start telling people to smash the like button for you man!
Pete, thanks, always enjoy your videos. Would it be possible for you to please upload this batch?
i want to see more pete being pete. I wouldnt mind seeing guitar vlogs on what you do. like sessions or gigs or stuff like that!
Beautiful guitar. Good video.
I was just watching the other video thinking “ i wonder if pete can get some mayer tones out of this” and boom you did it
The warm clean definitley sounded good for stuff like slow dancing almost sounded like the dirty tweed could be used as a booster
Great review Pete !!!!!! 😎
Great video.Great riffs.
