Hello :) Im using your saber plugin but i'm having one occuring problem. I've used an Adjustment Layer to have a specific 'Find Edges' spot to have the saber footage effect go on one part of my clip. It doesn't work though, when I drag in the sequence to the footage tab the saber effect covers the whole screen, rather than my Adjustment Layer's mask selection. I dragged the Adjustment Layer into the footage panel, but the effect disappeared from the clip entirely. (remaining in my timeline) It would be great if you could help me!
Hi! Unfortunately I can look at your problem on monday as I’m on the road now. What about duplicating the footage, masking the duplicated footage then apply the find edges effect directly to it (without adjustment layer) and nest it into a separate sequence. Then drag the nested sequence into the footage panel.
Hello Michael. I have one question. I am using saber effect in after effects CS6 and it works. Although, it's glow looks different than one I see in CZcams videos. Can there be any solution? My Display it's not too good though. Might it be the screen problem?
Sorry for the late reply. I’m kinda busy right now. I don’t know exactly. Maybe you can send me a screenshot. Maybe it’s a a different preset. Saber has tons of different presets. If it’s your screen than render a single frame and open it on another screen, your smartphone for example. If it looks the same the problem is not your screen.

Thank you :). As far as I know contrary to Saber uni.ecto doesn't apply to masks but to pixels. So your mask needs a thickness. You could convert the masks to shape layer strokes.
Hi! Thanks for using my MOGRT. If your sequence is just 5 sec long the effect also stops at 5sec. You could loop your clip up to 10sec (limit of my MOGRT) and nest it into a new Premiere sequence. Then you can drag the sequence into the Insert Tab. That should hopefully work :)
Hey! Just a quick question, in Workaround 3 can you use the Saber for just an object in a video? Like the gun in Valorant or something. If so, how? Thanks
Hi! Unfortunately I don’t know Valorant 😊. But you can draw a mask around the gun to isolate it. If it’s a video you could track the mask to the moving gun. Hope that helps
I think you can. You trace the car body with a write on effect. Nest it in a new sequence and drag it into the footage window of my template. The footage and the sequences should be 1920x1080px. Haven’t tried it yet but that’s the theory at least 😊
If you have one of the latest Premiere Pro Versions , at least CC2021 than it shouldn’t be a problem to import the mogrt file into the essential graphics panel as described in my video 😊. Older versions won’t work unfortunately 😢
I have premiere pro 2022 (version 22.5.0) and it says "file import failure" and error message is "File format not supported". was there a recent update that won't let me use this anymore?
@@MichaelPonch yes. although now when i add it it says "this file already exists, confirm overwrite?" (it's not showing in templates folder) then it says installation failed

They know that you have a Red Giant account. But you have to register at Maxon website. Your new Maxon account will be aware of your Universe license. Then you can install Universe via the maxon app.
Hi! Thank you 😊. Unfortunately my MOGRT requires Premiere 2021 because of the Media Replacement feature that came with PR 2021. So I would recommend to upgrade. If you are familiar with After Effects you can also download my free template for it.

Do you mean the mask should have the saber effect applied to? If so I would draw an outlined shape around the object in a separate sequence and use this sequence as ‘footage’ to drag into Mogrt.
@@MichaelPonch yes I have already thought about masking it and add the affect of yours and just set blend mond onto screen but I didnt know if the actually could work and I didnt try it cause if it would not I would have just wasted my time
@@MichaelPonch I ran into another issue even tho the whole gun is masked out it when I drag it in the footage it doesent apply correctly its miss placed and smaller than the mask
This is especially for Premiere Pro. But I also have templates for After Effects that mocks Saber. Just go to my Gumroad page where you downloaded this preset.
Hi! It’s not meant for live preview. You have to render the effects first to have a smooth playback. The template is based on After Effects after all 😊

I’m very sorry that it’s misleading. In the video I’m talking about workarounds on how to get the effect that looks like saber into premiere. You are right, Saber is for AE only but with the trick via After Effects you can have it in Premiere, too as I explained in my video.

Really strange. I’ve just imported the mogrt into my latest Premiere and it worked. Have you imported the mogrt via Essential Graphics Panel?
