- I know Legend's divisive, but I quite like the fella.
I've got a supplemental in mind that didn't quite fit the thesis of this video, it'll be its own vid, probs up by next week if I'm not too busy.
Small confession, I actually haven't rewatched Decade in like, an actual decade, so the script and audio was done based off hazy memories of the show. I only got around the skimming the necessary material for editting.
Which is why all the Decade stuff comes from exactly 3 sources, episode 1, Movie War 2010, and All Riders vs Dai Shocker.

i think at the end of the spin off of the k.r zi-o, they retired decade when he said his journey is over.

Also the way how they Put the Card in their driver is the exact opposite
Except it's not. Tsukasa puts the card in from the top, the opposite would be from the bottom. Whereas Kaguya puts his Legend Chemy cards in from the right side. Their methods aren't opposite, but perpendicular.

He is litteraly DEndCade (DiEnd + Decade) he can change into other riders like decade but also SUMMON THEM like DiEnd and THATS SOMETHING WE DONT TALK ENOUGH
im not sure if decade complete 21 is canon but if it is then decade also has the ability to summon since complete 21 has the diend driver

Kaguya can turn into Decade, but not into Tsukasa.
On his various appearances post-series, it is implied that the multiversal-time traveling powers are his, not necessarily the rider's ie. Decade's. Tsukasa is the destroyer of worlds, who happen to be the rider, Decade.
Kaguya has been shown capable of donning Decade, the rider's powers, but that doesnt mean he can use Tsukasa's world bending powers.
It was never shown nor confimed yet that Decade can only change into the suits of main riders. In fact I would be doubtful that Decade, the rider cant change into any secondary or tertiary riders. So it would be possible that a Tsukasa out there has a card of Legend, the rider.
So if push comes to shove that Tsukasa vs Kaguya happens, I still believe Tsukasa will win even if they have overlapping rider powers. Base Tsukasa just has the edge in power, not to mention experience.
True, plus I doubt legend can use the full power of zio, not to mention grand form, as I doubt even decade has the full power of zio. They both only have partial of zios full power, but legend(if it's shown he can end world) also have a partial power of the destroyer
Legend would win, Decade can't transform into tertiary or secondary, it has never been displayed, He doesn't even has their cards, Toei fumbled with Decade 's power since in his Complete Form He could even transform into the main riders's final forms and seems to lose his capability to use thei base form's diverse abilities (Clock Up by example, He would only be capable of accessing when tranformed into Kabuto), Toei really limited his final form capability turning Complete Form into a form with a giant raw power(capable of using the main rider's final attack) but lacking in hax's (by example, super speed in any nature).

I think they couldnt let Decade rest, but because it would be akward after Tsukasas death they just chose someone to take Decades Candle so they can use that concept more without disturbing Tsukasas rip moment

I really like Kaguya. He's basically a Decade fan with as much confidence abd self assurance as Geats.
He's also a good foil to Hotaro's personality! Hotaro is inexperienced, not as confident in himself, but he's confident in others, including Kaguya himself, giving room for them to learn from each other.
I also think part of this is that he doesn't overstay his welcome. He's around for a two episode special, then isn't heard from for a long time, and then comes back in one arc of Gotchard.
Honestly, i feel like he doesn't need his own series. After all, Tsukasa was way cooler in everything outside of the Decade series.

All three of them can correct people on their colors lol. It's not pink it's magenta, not blue, it's cyan and then it's not yellow it's GOLD (tho that breaks the color theme but whatever it's cool)

10th like! It's almost fate lol. While I watched Ryuki and Kabuto as a child, it was Decade who got me hooked into the franchise as a whole. Whereas the recent 3 episode Legend arc really endeared me to Kaguya even more. So I really enjoyed your video analysing their characters. "Legend is NOT Decade", I mean... that was way apparent from the get go seeing who their users are. Legend is indeed just a Decade fan boy, same way Sydrome formely known as Incredi-boy idolized Mr Incredible or basically any die hard fan trying to be like thier idol, like Eobard Thawne idolizing Barry Allen (and I'm using good people turned villains unintentionally cuz I can't think of any other characters that do have this concept) aside for Twokaizer but he just armor swaps with Shinkenger and Ohranger. Haven't finished this explanation vid yet but so far from what I've understood and my view for a while with Legend, Yeah, he's basically paralleling Decade, was showoff-ish a bit cuz he's got no past known yet but had good moral compass as he got the other 9 rider powers, Legend is just Flamboyant and is like dialed up Tsukasa's crazy amazing feats, that and Kaguya is rich and has butler and "rejoice" man on his side
decade's deca driver inserts card from top and turns side ways, legend's legend driver inserts card from the side and turns right side up, but in a way they are mostly the same, it looks like legend is the 3rd rider of kr decade we all wished we have
The first thought that I have upon seeing Kamen Rider Legend for the first time and getting to know him is HE'S JUST LIKE ME FR FR
Like, I'm a Decade fan myself for a very long time. Seeing how Legend embodies Decade's aesthetics (with a mix of Zi-O and Revice, two of my faves) and how he also built his own identity upon it is EXACTLY how I envisioned a New Generation Decade
It also helps that his appearances have made him a strong character that perhaps would guarantee his appearances in future installments
So, here's what I see from Legend's similarities with those 3 Riders so far
- Decade: he's a Decade fanboy, indeed JUST LIKE ME FR FR
- Zi-O: gold and luxurious aesthetics and having his own Butler, even proclaiming as the king of kings himself IIRC
- Revice: his card depicted his Chemy form as a lion, as well as having partnered with a fellow Legend Chemy card user, albeit temporarily
That being said, Legend has become one of my favorite Kamen Riders alongside Decade, Zi-O, Revice, Zein, and Fifteen as fellow crossover gimmick users
I wish they'd all band together in Decade's 20th Anniversary project later on, perhaps also joined by the 10th Reiwa Rider 😆😆😆
Decade's rider belt tech came from Shocker a.k.a. Axis Natzee remnant, Legend's tech came from Alchemy of the Gotchard world.
Decade possessed his alternate self that is why his costume just keep on changing
Example in alternate world tsukasa is a bus driver then the decade driver will come to that tsukasa and tsukasa will get the talent on being a bus driver
If alternate tsukasa is a police he will get a talent on being a police

Ppl are commenting that legend is like fusion of dcd and diend. But nope. If u all pay attention closely to his henshin, it had zio esque. Legend somehow could utilized a part of zio power too. Legendary legend form really showed it all. So it's more a fusion of Dcd and zio.. space and time power.
