Enjoyed the interview, ihave thought about doing falconry experience in hunting, i often have visitors with me.
I think this lady has done a great job setting up this business.
I dont think general public think teathering is cruel, i think a minority of animal rights people have to much time on their hands and have no idea what they are even talking about.

Hawk's crops are amazing. My Harris' Hawks can consume 180g (F-1200g, M-800g body weight), but it takes them some time to put that down. It's hard to say how is put down into the stomach each time. But it can take 3-4 hours for sure to put it all down.
This is a full quail and they are fed this large amount infrequently during the season and frequently during the molt.
Thank you for the comment When I worked at a commercial falcon breeding facility we fed quail daily during the breeding season. Outside the breeding season they were fed a maintenance diet of DOC.
