Both technology are good ,we need to have good energy mix,Nigeria has abundant natural gas besides cng kits are cheaper than electric vehicle conversion kits,the same goes buying new gas vehicle, electric vehicle is more expensive and not entirely a clean energy source ,when you consider dirty lithium mining technology at various lithium mining site that pollutes the world in summary each one have it's merit and demerit let's adopt the 2. we should equally look at sodium ion battery and metal-air battery technology which is a cheaper battery alternative finally Hydrogen combustion engine and green hydrogen powered fuel cell technology to be integrated in EVs in the future

He talked about using solar energy to power the EVs, but how efficient would that be? If the EVs are solely dependent on solar energy, it means that you cannot drive your car when the weather changes and there is no availability of constant sunlight to recharge the EV batteries.
Solar power is dependent on sun which is not available 24 hrs or on non sunny day .All CNG cars will be available even after 5 yrs.So saying ev is the solution how much expense in replacing the batteries after 4 yrs cost of ev is very high and big investments r needed to produce electricity
