- Episode 7 of Oktagon Challenge: England vs Ireland as four prospects from each nation go head-to-head, continuing the age-old rivalry between the nations as the brutality of MMA meets reality tv.
Brad Pickett and Akonne Wanliss coach Team England with Shem Rock and Paddy Holohan leading Team Ireland as eight fighters battle for two spots in a blockbuster Manchester final in November.
Living together whilst also fighting each other, the teams must also face challenges designed to take the fighters outside their comfort zones, enabling fans can see the true personalities and characters behind the steely competitors.
Representing team England are George Staines, Jake McHugh, Hascen Gelezi and Beau Gavin - all looking for their big career break.
Ireland's prospects are Matthew Elliott, Denis Frimpong, Aaron McDonald and Armand Herczeg - looking to defeat their English counterparts and claim an Oktagon contract worth £25,000.
In this week's episode, George Staines faces Armand Herczeg with a place at Oktagon 48 & the final of Okatgon Challenge on the line. After Armand's taunting of team-mate Jake McHugh, George will be looking to enact revenge and secure a space in the final for England, while Armand looks to make it an all Ireland clash in Manchester.

This is like season 5 or 6 I believe. There were 3 Czech vs Slovakia guys, one with CZ/SK girls, then one in Germany. There will be more. but it takes about a year + for a new one.

Ive enjoyed this show. I watch the UFC predominantly but this was good. I hope Oktagon becomes a big promotion in the UK aswell as central Europe. We need some competition for Cage Warriors.
Also on a side note Frimpong was super obnoxious for most of the show which makes you dislike him, but he did a great job in making people continue to tune in and watch. So props for that 👍
Mate, Oktagon is already the best European promotion. They were nominated for best promotion in MMA awards in USA along with UFC etc. + They have the biggest crowd attendance regularly. In CZ/SK/Germany they are selling out 10k+ arenas every single tournament.
Oktagon are huge in Europe to be fair they pack out 20k seaters every other month it’s mad.
