- This was surprisingly easy to do. I do not suggest any of you trying this with a real sword however, it is very dangerous. I hope you enjoy the video, be sure to like comment and subscribe.

@@malawianalphawolf you do realize that Taurus never used a samurai sword right he used a chokuto it's this Japanese style broad sword that was composed of something I know was made from a made up material called Aura Steel which is when you fuse your Aura with the actual steal to make it more durable and individually unique and indestructible it would explain why the weapon itself was so durable from all the constant attacks from dust cartridges to Auras to semblances the weapon itself never broke abd never needed sharpening not only Adam was ninja not samurai
RWBY fight scenes are done with motion capture technology. Hence those are actually real martial arts moves.
That's 90% of the reason as to why these were very easy to do, and possible for the human body. However, using a real katana is never a good idea unless you are trained.

adams weapon works as him sticking the blade in the scabbard next to the barrel, however part of the handle spreads out so it blocks the barrel so when he fires it shoots the sword, depending on what you use to make the handle and how well it was made, adams weapon can very much become a reality (besides the blocking bullets part)
I watch this several hundred times and obviously I'm late to comment but If Rooster teeth and the RWBY team ever need a new Adam Taurus for a future showing in the series or a future video game they got a natural for motion capture right here.

@@malawianalphawolf Even trained professionals can chop their dick off by accident doing overly fancy moves, doing that with a sharpened sword didn't add anything other the potential to turn that into an epic fail video instead. Im glad you didn't get injured but you telling people not to do this at home......while you are at home is a mixed message to say the least.

@@malawianalphawolf sure always open for help i have swords that are recreations of lord of the rings strider and witch king swords a pair of gladius swords and a short katana cantvremember the actual name bu mt i use the LOTR swords most so bigger swords just to give you an idea of what i work with
@@spartan0328 wakizashi is probably the name of the katana you're talking about. Anyway, when it comes to sword control, even when it comes to big swords, your control is in your wrists. Practice exercise moving the sword with slight wrist rotations to get used to it.
Secondly, trust yourself but don't be cocky. Confidence will help you with a lot of risky and dangerous stunts, but know your limitations and don't do things that takes years of experience. If you notice, my sword sheath hand had a leather glove on, this was because Iaido takes years to master and looks easier than it is. So, remember that safety is always a priority.
Lastly, if you have a sword sheath, practice with that before you do anything with a sword. If not, practice with something resembling a sword. As long as you remember weight compensation is a big deal.
